Observation platforms. How to get by metro to the observation deck of the Sparrow Hills Observation deck of the wounds opening hours

Vorobyovy Gory is a forested area on the high right bank of the Moscow River and one of the favorite vacation spots of Muscovites. Vorobyovy Gory is considered one of the seven hills of Moscow; the largest observation deck in the capital is located here, which offers amazing views of the surrounding area. You will see the beautiful bend of the Moscow River, the Kremlin towers and the Luzhniki Stadium, on the right - Neskuchny Garden, on the left - the Novodevichy Convent.

According to tradition, newlyweds come here on their wedding day, and in the evenings friends with similar interests, including bikers and street racers, gather here. A vintage car show is periodically held here.

Those who prefer peace and solitude can go deep into the green area and take a walk through the forest, as well as along the ponds located closer to Neskuchny Garden. Vorobyovy Gory is located near the center of Moscow - 5.5 km from the Kremlin. At the same time, despite the global development, untouched areas of pure forest with old large trees that have survived more than one century have been preserved here.

A pedestrian zone of the Moscow River with a length of about 10 km passes through the territory of the forest park, including the Krymskaya and Pushkinskaya, Andreevskaya and Vorobyovskaya embankments.

In spring and summer, you can rent a bicycle or roller skates on Vorobyovy Gory. Rental points are located on the embankment near the funicular and next to the exit to Vorobyovskoye Highway.

How to get to Vorobyovy Gory, metro station

  • By metro - Vorobyovy Gory station, Frunzenskaya and Universitet metro stations are also nearby.

For those who come by car, there are parking spaces next to the observation deck on Kosygina Street, opposite the Moscow State University building and near the intersection of Kosygina Street and Vernadsky Avenue.

Sparrow Hills - observation deck

The observation deck is located at the very top of the Sparrow Hills, at the intersection of Kosygina Street and University Square. Telescopes are installed here, and their use is free. The opening panorama of Moscow fascinates with its harsh beauty and a slight haze over the city.

Near the observation deck, as well as on the embankment, there are cafes where you can have a snack.

From the observation deck you can go down to the embankment on foot, and in the summer, by funicular, located on the right side of the observation deck (if you look at Moscow). The funicular will take you to the embankment or to the pier; there is also a stop at the intermediate station. From the pier you can board a boat and go on a trip along the Moscow River.

  • According to legend, in this place there was a village that belonged to a priest named Sparrow, hence the origin of the name of this area becomes clear. Later, this village was acquired by Princess Sophia, the wife of Moscow Grand Duke Vasily I
  • For several decades, the Sparrow Hills were called the Lenin Hills, but the exact year of the renaming has not been established; three dates are given: 1924, 1935 and 1936. In 1999, the area was returned to its historical name
  • In the 18th-19th centuries there was a transit prison on Vorobyovy Gory, as Alexander Herzen wrote about in his novel “The Past and Thoughts” in 1868.
  • Initially, the Cathedral of Christ the Savior was planned to be located on the Sparrow Hills. The project was developed and approved and construction began. But over the next seven years, work was carried out sluggishly, and soon stopped completely. According to the official version, due to the unreliability of the soil, the construction of the temple was stopped. At the same time, it turned out that a million rubles from the money allocated for the construction of the cathedral were embezzled. The construction managers were accused of embezzlement and embezzlement and put on trial. The author of the project, Vitberg, was innocently convicted and sent into exile
  • During its history, Sparrow Hills several times became a viewing platform for conquerors - from here the Crimean Khan Kazy-Girey and the Polish Hetman Khotkevich looked at the capital. And in the October days of 1917, from the high bank of the Moscow River, the Red Guards began shelling the Kremlin.

Vorobyovy Gory – ecological trail

Vorobyovy Gory is a unique ecological zone with a special topography, there are many springs, picturesque landscapes and excellent breathing. The ecological trail was opened in 2005 and became the first ecological trail in Moscow. It is equipped with information stands and signs telling about the animal and flora forest park.

The forest zone is inhabited by voles, moles and squirrels, and birds include falcons and blackbirds, nightingales and warblers, duckweeds and white wagtails, woodpeckers and mallards, tits and blue tits. Along one of the ponds there are gazebos where you can relax and shelter from the rain. Descriptions of the plants and animals encountered are presented at special stands.

There are feeders for small birds and squirrels, protected by a net from large birds. If desired, the inhabitants of the forest can be fed with grain and nuts.

You can walk along the ecological trail on your own; the ascent to it begins from Vorobyovskaya embankment, 100 meters from the cable car. Excursions along ecological trails take place year-round, in weekdays from 8-00 to 17-00 they are held free of charge. It is better to sign up for an excursion in advance, since there are many people who want to take it in the summer. Excursion routes:

  • The route “On the Slopes of the Sparrow Hills” starts from the Observation Deck and consists of the section “Slopes of the Sparrow Hills” with a length of 550 meters and the “Andreevsky Ponds” with a length of 220 meters. At the very beginning of the eco-route there is an aviary complex with rare ornamental birds, including pheasants and peacocks, as well as an aviary with squirrels and a demonstration aviary with birds of prey
  • The route “On the terraces of Vorobyovy Gory”, 740 meters long, begins at the Vorobyovy Gory metro station. This trail is accessible to everyone as it is adapted for people with reduced mobility. On the route you will come across the “Guess the Tree” and “Animal Traces” stands, as well as St. Andrew’s Ponds, where you can feed the ducks.
  • on the territory of the Moscow Kremlin will reward those who have mastered the 137 steps with a beautiful view of the historical buildings of old Moscow.
  • Observation deck at the Cathedral of Christ the Saviorthe best place for exploring the central part of the city, and there is an elevator.
  • The tallest observation deck - on the Ostankino TV tower. The height here literally takes your breath away!
  • Skyscrapers of Moscow City, as well as the Red Hills Hotel - perfect place to enjoy dinner overlooking the evening city.
  • Sparrow Hills and the building of Moscow University is the most popular way to look around the whole city.

There are points from which the most spectacular views open in any metropolis. Moscow can also surprise you with them, and in all their diversity. You can admire the capital of Russia from the high picturesque embankments, from the walls historical monuments, modern high-rise buildings. Almost all of these observation platforms are open to everyone. Some of them are part of museum complexes, others are located in Moscow skyscrapers, and others are part of the Moscow landscape.

This viewpoint may be number one on your list. It is located on Cathedral Square (Kremlin, Cathedral Square, entrance by ticket). This bell tower is one of the Kremlin museums. You can climb to a height of 25 meters, and on the way explore the exhibition dedicated to the history of the Kremlin’s architecture. The reward for your diligence will be a stunning view of historical central Moscow. In past centuries, when buildings were not so multi-story and dense, from the bell tower one could see the surrounding area within a radius of 25-30 km. Thanks to this, the bell tower was the main lookout point for the city's defense. Today, due to tall buildings, it is no longer possible to look so far, but this does not prevent the bell tower from remaining one of the best observation platforms in the city. The bell tower received its final form at the beginning of the 17th century. under Tsar Boris Godunov - at that time it was built to a height of 81 meters.

Remember that to climb to the observation deck you need to overcome 137 steps, which not everyone can do.

Cathedral of Christ the Savior

Another observation deck in the center of Moscow (Volkhonka St., 15, entrance by ticket). on this site it was originally built according to the design of the architect A. Ton in the middle of the 19th century, blown up and dismantled to the ground by the Bolsheviks in 1931, and then restored in the 1990s. This vantage point has an advantage over the Ivan the Great Bell Tower: from it you can see the Kremlin panorama. In this case, you don’t have to “climb the heights” at all: the Cathedral of Christ the Savior has elevators, so climbing to the observation decks will be easy.

The height of the observation platforms, which are located in the corners of the cathedral (under the bell towers), is 40 m, and they offer an overview of the entire city center. This site is the most convenient option for those who want to combine the opportunity to enjoy picturesque views with a cultural program. You can explore the Cathedral of Christ the Savior itself, and look into the museum at the temple to learn the history of its construction and restoration.

Ostankino Tower

The highest observation deck in the city is located on one of the top floors (Akademika Koroleva St., 15, entrance by ticket). Today she is the most high building Europe and the tenth highest in the world. Ostankino Tower was built in 1960-1967. according to the designs of designer N. Nikitin and architects L. Batalov and D. Budin. They say that the idea for this stable structure was formalized into a project literally overnight: in a moment of insight, Nikitin proposed giving the base of the tower the shape of a lily leaf. The height of the tower spire is 540 meters, and the amplitude of its vibrations can reach 3 meters. The building houses many TV channels and radio stations.

There are two publicly accessible observation platforms on the Ostankino Tower: an open one - at an altitude of 340 m, which can only be reached in the warm season, and a closed one - at an altitude of 337 m. Such a huge height allows you to see the whole of Moscow and even the nearest Moscow region. It's truly breathtaking here, especially in some places where the floor is deliberately made transparent. Here you can also take a ride on high-speed elevators and see a small exhibition dedicated to the history of the construction of the tower.

Skyscrapers of Moscow

Another viewpoint that has appeared in the city relatively recently is Moscow City, an island of modern skyscrapers in the city center. Observation deck on the 58th floor Empire Towers» – the best option: this is the only place from where the business center itself does not block the view (Presnenskaya embankment, 6, building 2, entrance by ticket). The tower is a modern business building with fast elevators (their speed is 7 m/s). The complex is located in the center of Moscow, just four kilometers from the Kremlin, and is very convenient from the point of view transport accessibility. The panoramas of Moscow City in the evening are incredibly beautiful - from here you can watch the sunset.

If you want to combine pleasant things with even more pleasant things, then there, in Moscow City, in tower "Federation" on the 64th floor there is the restaurant “Sixty” (Presnenskaya embankment, 12). It belongs to the category of expensive establishments, but the prices are justified by the amazing views: the main thing is to grab a table by the window. The restaurant claims to be the highest in Europe. The quality of the cuisine is also rated quite highly by visitors.

Another good vantage point located in the city center is the City Space bar in Hotel "Red Hills"(Kosmodamianskaya embankment, 52, p. 6). Its visitors can not only have a pleasant time in the elegant bar, but also enjoy a beautiful panorama of the city - with a 360-degree view. This platform gives you the opportunity to see the Kremlin from a rather close range, and also consider the famous ones - they are always easy to recognize even against the backdrop of modern buildings.

Sparrow Hills and the building of Moscow University

There are also several observation platforms in Moscow that appeared thanks to the natural topography, and you can visit them completely free of charge. One of the most beloved observation decks by residents and guests of the city is located on Sparrow Hills near the Moscow River (Kosygina St., 18). It offers a view of almost the entire city, including all the Stalinist skyscrapers. At the same time, to consider the latter, you will have to look back - Observation deck located directly in front of the main building of the Moscow state university named after M.V. Lomonosov. The site is surrounded by a large park belonging to the university, and the University Botanical Garden is nearby. Newlyweds often come to this viewpoint to walk and take photos. In the evenings, bikers and sports car enthusiasts gather here.

A walk along the Sparrow Hills can be combined with an educational event: by appointment you can get to the Museum of Geography of Moscow State University(metro University, Leninskie Gory, 1A). It is located on the 24-31 floors of the Main Building, and this provides an opportunity to get to another observation point. Thus, visitors will be able not only to examine the famous Stalinist high-rise building inside and get acquainted with the museum exhibition, but also to admire a bird's eye view of Moscow. Not only the city center is clearly visible, but also a large section of the Moscow River with new residential areas beyond it.

Poklonnaya Gora and the city center

Another viewpoint is located next to the station metro station "Park Pobedy". Perhaps the view from it is not very wide, but this place is interesting as a monument to the military history of Russia. Here you can visit

The observation deck on Vorobyovy Gory is perhaps the most famous observation deck from where you can look at the panorama of the capital. This is what many guests of the city do and the residents of Moscow do not lag behind - the views from here are truly worthy of attention. Especially when you know where and what to look at, all the most iconic points of the city emerge into a whole exciting story.

The site is part sightseeing tour around the city, a favorite place for wedding photographers, a walking alley for students of Moscow University (whose main building is very close), mothers with strollers, romantic couples and even a long-standing meeting place for bikers.

The Sparrow Hills (in Soviet times they were called Lenin Hills for a long time, and only in 1999 the historical name returned) is considered to be the right side of the Moscow River in the southwest of the city. Geographically, this area is located quite high (it is considered one of the seven hills on which, as you know, Moscow stands). winding river washes away the high hilly bank, nourishes the beautiful forest around, which makes this place one of the most picturesque areas of the city.

The observation deck was designed during the construction of the university complex and was built together with it from 1949 to 1953. The project was led by Vitaly Ivanovich Dolganov, a famous Soviet architect who took an active part in the landscaping of Moscow and the creation of the city's landscape and park culture.

Muscovites love this place on major holidays, when fireworks roar over the city. On the Sparrow Hills there is a “mission control center” - the main headquarters, from where all fireworks in the city are commanded. Here you can clearly see not only the “local” fireworks, but also a multidimensional picture when you simultaneously watch fireworks throughout the city. Photographers and videographers come here for this opportunity.

In recent years, the observation deck has become even more comfortable than before. Coffee shops on wheels and snack machines appeared. The site is beautifully lit at night. The territory is patrolled by police, but do not turn off your vigilance - the multimillion-dollar city attracts a variety of “characters”.

Attractions

It makes sense to go to Vorobyovy Gory for at least two reasons: to see the sights of Moscow from a flying height and to relax in nature.

Cable car on Vorobyovy Gory

From the observation deck you can clearly see several embankments - Novodevichy and Berezhkovskaya, Vorobyovskaya and Luzhnetskaya, and the bridges connecting them.

Directly behind the stadium, the multi-colored domes of St. Basil's Cathedral stand out, part of the bell towers of the Kremlin, and the power of the Cathedral of Christ the Savior are visible. Here you can also see another landmark of modern Moscow - the huge figure of Peter I, installed on the Red October Spit, a very odious work by Zurab Tsereteli. Immediately into the gap - the third " Stalin's skyscraper» - near the Red Gate, and the famous medical University named after Sechenov.

If you move from the central part of the panorama to the right, you can immediately see the fourth “high-rise” - the house on Kotelnicheskaya, the oldest residential complex on the embankment, living in which in the middle of the last century was a sign of special elitism. The house is familiar to many - it played an important role in the popular Soviet film “Moscow Doesn’t Believe in Tears.”

If you move your gaze further, it is difficult to miss the Shukhov TV Tower - an engineering project of incredible courage and implementation, created in the 20s of the last century. At the moment, the tower is practically not used for its intended purpose and is left as a historical monument.

Even further to the right you can find in the panorama the Presidium of the Academy of Sciences - a 22-story high-rise building built in the 1990s.

In a word, it’s difficult to even name another place other than the observation deck on Sparrow Hills, from where you can see so many of the capital’s attractions at once and understand how they relate to each other.

Sights of Sparrow Hills

If you get to the observation deck, be sure to take a look interesting places around. First of all, of course, the territory of Moscow State University - still the main stronghold of science and classical education in Russia. The main building of Moscow State University (it’s hard to miss, it dominates the entire space around) has its own observation deck. The site is located at an altitude of 200 meters (24th floor). True, you won’t be able to get there for free - access is only allowed as part of an excursion group.

For nature lovers, the territory of the Sparrow Hills is almost ideal: there is a botanical garden of Moscow University, the Moscow River embankment, Andreevsky Pond, many pleasant paths and routes: no matter which direction you go, there is great walking everywhere.

How to get to the observation deck

The landmark for getting to the Vorobyovy Gory observation deck can be considered Kosygina Street. Entrance to the site is absolutely free from anywhere on the street - free of charge and around the clock. Even binoculars here that provide 15x magnification are available completely free of charge, which is a rarity these days.

How to get there

The main landmark for the observation deck is the main building of Moscow State University (this is University Square). There is very little walking directly around the University. public transport. A trolleybus (route No. T7), which runs along Kosygina Street, can take you directly to the place. You can get off at the “Observation Deck” or “University Square” stops. Bus number 111 also stops on the square near the main building of Moscow State University. From here you will need to walk about 500 meters to the observation deck. For more details, see the Mosgortrans company website.

A funicular will soon open on Vorobyovy Gory, which will take you up from the embankment. It will start from the Luzhniki Arena and include 3 stations (one on the left bank, one on the right, and one at the top).

Metro to Vorobyovy Gory

The most guaranteed way to travel around Moscow (from the point of view of calculating travel time) is the metro. The Vorobyovy Gory observation deck is located near the Sokolnicheskaya Line metro station of the same name. When leaving the metro, follow the signs - you need to exit towards the embankment.

From the metro to the observation deck it is about 1.5 kilometers - you can easily walk there. It is more convenient to do this not along the main road, but to take a “shortcut” by walking along an eco-trail. It's difficult to get lost here - there are signs along the road.

Coordinates of the observation deck for the navigator: 55.709315, 37.542163.

You can also get to the observation deck on Sparrow Hills by taxi. There are plenty of opportunities for this in the capital. There are mobile applications for calling a taxi, such as Yandex. Taxi, Uber, Gett, Maxim, Rutaxi. Also, if you drive, you can use the car sharing system (car rental service) - Delimobil, Anytime, YouDrive and others.

How to get to Sparrow Hills on your own is the topic of this guide. Observation deck at Vorobyovy Gory akh is located opposite the high-rise building of Moscow State University.

Vorobyovy Gory how to get there the easiest way

Let's not deny that the easiest way to get to the observation deck is by car. The site is located on Kosygina Street. You can put the address of the church in the navigator Life-Giving Trinity on Vorobyovy Gory - st. Kosygina, 30.

Vorobyovy Gory how to get there by metro

We suggest using the fastest and most economical version for Moscow of “getting from point A to point B,” that is, using the metro. And even though young people use navigators all the time, we are old-fashioned people; in Moscow we navigate by map. In addition, the better half of the site’s team of authors suffers from geographic cretinism and, for their unfortunate friends, explains with their fingers and shows in photographs how to be in the right place at the right time.

The metro station closest to the observation deck is called “Vorobyovy Gory”, it is located on the red metro line.

There are two stations on this line in the city center. Not far from the Kremlin is the Lenin Library station, next to Red Square is the station Okhotny Ryad. From here to Vorobyovy Gory station the train takes 13 minutes, then you have to walk for about 20 minutes.

How to get to Vorobyovy Gory from the metro

We arrive at the Vorobyovy Gory station. There are two exits to the city.

We need access “to Kosygina Street.” That is, in the direction where the springboard, the Moscow State University high-rise building, is located.

Let's follow the sign:

The necessary sign at Vorobyovy Gory station.

We go up the escalator and go straight, we find ourselves under the bridge.

We reach the end of the bridge, here the road bifurcates, we need to turn right.

Don't be alarmed if you see a barrier tape - it is not for pedestrians. Calmly pick up the obstacle and move on. Below in the photo you can see both the ribbon and travelers walking towards the observation deck.

Along the pedestrian path

We reach the next fork.

Sidewalk to the Vorobyovy Gory observation deck.

Here again we keep to the right, the desired direction is indicated by an iron fence, in 2014 - yellow. Having walked forward a little, we again see a fork.

It doesn't seem to matter which path you take here, both will lead to the right place. The author of this opus, like a brave hero, went around and took a left.

Sparrow Hills how to get through the park

There are benches and picturesque gazebos along the way.

A few meters after the wooden gazebo on the left you will see a pond with a pair of panoramic balconies.

Then, right along the way, you will see the gazebo again.

And another fork in four roads. Be careful here! You need to turn sharply to the left; from the fork, the desired asphalt path can be easily missed behind the trees and foliage.

There is a treacherous fork in the photo, the roads diverge down to the right, gently up to the left, the required rise to the left and up was not included in the frame.

The road goes up sharply, steps are visible in the distance.

The staircase leads to the observation deck of the Sparrow Hills.

I don’t know if the number of steps was specially adjusted, or if it happened by accident, but there are exactly 100 of them!

“Now we’ll climb the mountain, and there we’ll see Oh” (c).

Having climbed up, do not deny yourself the pleasure of approaching the stele of Herzen and Ogarev, it is located a few meters from the top step, a sign leads to it. And we hurry on and soon go out onto Kosygina Street.

We turn right and continue along the side alley.

The alley along Kosygina Street leads to the observation deck.

After a few meters appears cable car. Didn't work on May 25, 2014. And by 2018 it was dismantled and replaced with a modern one. So the photo below is already a fact of history

The desired object is visible immediately behind it.

The staircase leads to the Vorobyovy Gory observation deck.

From here we admire panoramic view Moscow from a height of 200 meters above sea level or 80 meters above the level of the Moscow River.

From the observation deck you can clearly see the bridge, on its lower tier there is the Vorobyovy Gory metro station, from where we just ascended.

At the end of the observation deck there is a church, colloquially called “Trinity in Sparrows”.

Church of the Life-Giving Trinity on Vorobyovy Gory.

That's all the attractions of the observation deck. We return to the metro along the same road. Be careful, don’t miss the descent to the Vorobyovy Gory metro station from Kosygina Street.

If you don’t get distracted by benches, gazebos, ponds, ducks, squirrels, jackdaws, and walk at a calm pace, then you can walk from the metro station to the Vorobyovy Gory observation deck in 17-20 minutes.

The capital of our Motherland, Moscow, is beautiful from a bird's eye view. There are many observation platforms in the city, the most modern of which is located on the 56th floor of the Empire skyscraper in Moscow City. Numerous travel agencies offer excursions to the top, but you can get there on your own without booking an excursion. We will tell you how to get to the Moscow City observation deck in the next article.

Moscow City

Moscow City is a place that many people love for its high-tech style and the image of a modern metropolis. It’s true, being on the territory of this city of glass and concrete, you can’t believe that you are in Russia, and not in Chicago or Hong Kong. Social networks are full of photographs against the backdrop of Moscow skyscrapers. Many people think that when they go up to the observation deck of a skyscraper, they will see something special. But is it?

When can you get to the Moscow City observation deck?

You can get to the observation deck with a tour from the agency (prices from 1000 rubles) or come to the Empire Tower on your own and purchase a ticket to the observation deck for 700 rubles. If you arrive in the morning on the weekend, you can save money and rise to the heavens for only 500 rubles (check for details). This amount includes the excursion.
Before visiting the Moscow City observation deck, we recommend that you first study the opening hours of the observation deck.
You can get to the lookout on weekends from 10 to 22. On weekdays, the lookout is open from 18 to 22. The ascent at 22 is made without a guide. Tours run every hour. But it's better if you clarify the details on the official website of the observation deck in the City, you never know!

How to find the Empire Tower, where the Moscow City observation deck is located

The observation deck in the City is located in the Empire Tower.
Finding it is quite easy.
The first thing we need is to get to the Vystavochnaya metro station or the Delovoy Tsentr metro station. Next, from the metro follow the signs to the Bagration Bridge. You don't need to go to the bridge itself, that is, we have to stay on this side of the river.

If you arrive by car, keep in mind that parking at the City is paid (100 rubles per hour, specific opening hours - on weekdays from 20-00, on weekends from 11 am). In general, you shouldn't come here by car.

This is the diagram posted on the official website. As you can see, you can reach the Empire Tower through the second floor of Avimola, but in our opinion it is easier to do this from the Bagration Bridge.

Towards the City

As you move, you will see a security booth with the sign Empire Tower.

Security guard

We turn right and approach the skyscrapers. Visually, the Empire looks like this: oval and green. If you look up, your head may involuntarily spin.

Skyscrapers

On your right hand you will have the Evolution Tower, twisted in a spiral (you are not going there), and on your left - the Empire Tower.

Empire Tower

Feel free to come in and go to the reception desk. This is where you can buy tickets for the climb. By the way, ticket prices are steep - adults cost 700 rubles, children 400 rubles. Children under 7 years old are free.

By the way, on the first floor of the Empire there is an interesting art object - a huge watering can camera. There are usually a lot of people wanting to take pictures.

Camera Leica

We are waiting for the group and take the high-speed elevator to the 56th floor. I recommend that you stock up on candy or chewing gum when you go up the elevator - it really hurts your ears.

What will we see on the City observation deck?

You've probably already rolled out your lip, took a selfie stick with you, and hope that your photos will get a lot of likes... But don't be fooled! The Empire Tower is surrounded on all sides by skyscrapers, so you can only see anything from one side of the Empire.

Entrance to the Observation Deck

All beautiful pictures, which are shown to us in booklets, were taken by professional photographers with a zoom of at least 200 mm.
Why are we paying this kind of money? Well, here's what: the guide will tell you about the construction of Moscow City, what the original idea for the complex was and what is happening now, and will demonstrate the features on the model. The story is interesting. They will tell you a little about what is located to the left and right of the skyscraper.

Moscow City is fashionable. There is practically no one here over 45 years old.

The rest of the time you will walk around the unfinished room with concrete ceilings and, if you are lucky, you will see some small exhibition at the top.

Alternative views of Moscow City

In our opinion, a much more picturesque observation deck on the City is located on the opposite bank. Of course, you won’t see Moscow from a bird’s eye view, but the view of the skyscraper complex is fabulous. Particularly spectacular shots can be taken in the evening or morning. It's always crowded here, but there's enough space for everyone.

Moscow City in the evening

Moscow City in the evening

Perhaps it makes sense to go up to the Moscow City observation deck once to form your own opinion. But we noticed a more interesting pastime for ourselves on Presnenskaya Embankment - a boat trip, the pier of which is located near the same Bagration Bridge. Tickets are sold in the lobby at the entrance to the bridge from the City side; one of the ticket offices is located near the Tree of Life sculpture.
Personally, I like the view of the City better than the view from it!
