He will take you to the best boutiques and shops of Antalya, where you can buy branded clothes, jewelry, leather and fur products. If you want to visit the shops and take a ride through the sights of Antalya, but you have very little time and enough money - in this case, it is best to hotel vip service. You will be provided with a spacious and comfortable minibus that will take you and your family or friends anywhere in Antalya and the Antalya coast.

No less fast and convenient way to get to Antalya will be taxi service. The cost from Belek to the center of Antalya - from $ 50 (the nightly rate for taxi services in Antalya increases by 50%).

If you have enough free time, and you want to walk around Antalya for a long time, without being tied to services, it will suit you. public transport. Namely, you can independently get to Antalya by minibuses (dolmush) or by intercity buses. The final point of public transport in Belek is the bus stop called Belek Otobüs Durağı, located at: Turizm cadessi, Belek, Antalya.
It is here that you can buy a ticket and take a dolmush or a bus. But do not be discouraged if you could not immediately find your way around and find this stop, you can get into a minibus or bus along the entire Turizm cadessi street, on which, for sure, your hotel is located. In this case, you will be required to wave your hand (to stop the bus or dolmush) and pay the fare from the driver. The trip will take you only 1 hour. The cost is about 10 TL. To travel to Antalya, minibuses and buses from Belek itself, as well as those passing from Alanya, Side and Manavgat, are suitable for you.

Belek is a very small resort town on the coast. mediterranean sea in the province of Antalya, which consists almost entirely of large hotels. It is in Belek that "All Inclusive" vouchers are often sold. But what is there to do here, except to spend all the time on the territory of the hotel? You can go to with a lot of entertainment, especially since it is very close. Below I will tell you how you can easily and quickly get from Belek to Antalya.

The distance between the two largest resort towns is only 42 km - mere trifles by Turkish standards.

This is how the route looks on the map:

2. Options for getting there

2.1. By bus

The most "predictable" option: at the bus station in Belek (it is called Belek Otobüs Durağı) buy a ticket and take a bus or minibus to Antalya.

In addition, you can “catch” the right bus at any point of Turizm cadessi street, just by waving your hand. Minibuses in this direction go approximately every 15 minutes. Regular buses (for example, from KamilKoc) - every hour at 8.00, 9.00 and so on until 20.00.

How long does it take to get to Antalya? In time, the journey by bus takes 40-50 minutes, and the cost will cost about 30-40 lira.

By the way, “transit” buses also go through Belek to Antalya - from, and.

2.2. By taxi

In time, a taxi ride to Antalya Airport will take about half an hour and will cost 50-60 liras. I note that Belek is considered an expensive resort relative to the nearest Alanya or. Therefore, taxi services here will cost much more than, say, in Alanya.

If you do not want to look for a taxi in the city, you can pre-book an individual transfer via the Internet at (cost from 40 euro).

2.3. Hotel transfer

Most hotels in Turkey have their own buses that take tourists directly to the airport, so if you need not Antalya itself, but its airport, then you can go on a special transfer. This service must be booked in advance. But if you are on a package tour, then the transfer will already be included in the price of the tour, so you should not worry about it.

And if you need directly to Antalya, then the hotel will offer you a taxi service. As a rule, a taxi from the hotel will cost more than a regular public taxi, which can be hailed on the street.

2.4. As part of the tour

Hotel guides will certainly insist on this option, citing the fact that public transport in Belek runs rarely and is packed to capacity during the season.

In fact, it's not like that at all. The distance between the cities is small, buses and minibuses run regularly in this direction, and the journey itself is inexpensive. In my opinion, it is much more convenient and cheaper to get from Belek to Antalya on your own.

But if you are going to Antalya on specific excursions, and not just walk around or, for example, go to shopping centers, then in some cases it will be more profitable to go on an excursion than to get there on your own. Because in the case of an independent trip around Antalya itself, you will also have to move on your own, spend extra time on travel, and as part of the tour, all the logistics have already been thought out for you. The only thing worth considering is that all organized excursions necessarily include shopping, which you may not need at all, and there will be less time for sightseeing.

2.5. By rented car

If you have an international driving license, then renting a car would be an ideal option to travel from Belek to Antalya for one day. You will not be tied to the schedule of transport, and in Antalya it will be much easier to move around than to deal with local transport.

You can see the cost of booking a car and order a car (cars are available in Belek costing from 38 euros per day).

2.6. With fellow travelers

3. Where to buy tickets

Bus tickets can be bought either at the bus station in Belek or directly from the driver.

4. How to get from the Antalya bus station to the city center

The final destination of the bus from Belek to Antalya is the Antalya Otogarı bus station. Although there are also buses that go to the airport or to.

This is how the entrance to the Antalya bus station looks like:

The easiest way to get from Otogar to the city center is by light rail. We leave the bus terminal, focusing on the AntRay signs, turn left and go around the terminal to the tram stop.

In time, a tram ride from Antalya Otogarı to Ismetpasa station in the center of Antalya will take half an hour. Tickets can be bought at the turnstiles at the Otogar tram stop.

Detailed information about the Antalya bus station can be found in the article "".

Just in case: bus number 600 departs from the bus station every 30-60 minutes (Havalimani - Otogar route). Travel time is about an hour, and the regularity of the flight depends on the time of day.

5. Conclusion

In my opinion, it is more convenient and cheaper to get from Belek to Antalya by bus or local minibus. Both transports run regularly and frequently, and in time the journey takes less than an hour. You can take a dolmush or a bus not only at the bus station, but also near the hotel or on the main street of Belek, simply by waving your hand to the driver.

A taxi to Antalya is unreasonably expensive, and the tour involves an unnecessary waste of time collecting passengers from all the hotels along the way and a mandatory visit to Turkish shops.

By the way, if you are just going to Antalya, but have not yet chosen a hotel, then I advise you to look at the hotellook search engine website (there you can find the best offers from 40 booking systems) or choose one of these hotels with a high rating:

Dozens of intercity routes from all over the country pass through its bus station every day.

The most unusual type of public transport in the resort is a leisurely tractor with a cart adapted to transport people. From morning to evening, he collects tourists from hotels on the first line of the beach and takes them to the village of Belek for free.

In front of each resort hotel there is a taxi rank and a stand with fixed fares. The cost of a trip to the bus station in Serik is 13-20 TRY, to the center of Antalya - 46-65 TRY, in Side - 52-65 TRY, to Kemer - 98-125 TRY, to the archaeological zone of Perge - 33-46 TRY, to Aspendos - 20-33 TRY, combined trip Belek-Aspendos-Perge-Belek - 130 TRY. Rent a Car

If you need a car for the entire holiday, it is convenient to rent it directly at Antalya Airport. For one-time trips around the area - to the ruins of Aspendos and Perge, in Side or shopping centers, it is better to use the hotel's offer - there is a rental office in almost every one of them. Most low prices- in local companies. A Renault Clio economy car will cost you TRY 214 per day or TRY 1400 per week. You can pay in cash, but in this case you will have to leave a cash deposit of 600-2800 TRY. There are also offices of international Avis and Europcar in Belek. Renting a car of a similar class is more expensive here - 417 and 1800 TRY, respectively, but you don't have to worry about its technical condition.

The cost of a liter of A-95 gasoline is 6.25 TRY, diesel fuel is 5.50-5.90 TRY. Fine for speeding - 154-90 TRY, for parking under a prohibition sign - from 70 TRY, for not wearing a seat belt - 50-70 TRY.

All parking in Belek is free, there are almost no traffic jams. Local police practice the installation of portable speed radars on the roads. At some distance behind them is a mobile post that stops and mercilessly fines violators. For those who do not know Turkish, the police have prepared a "cheat sheet" in English.

Communication and Wi-Fi

To save on calls to Russia, you should purchase a SIM card from local mobile operators. The largest Turkcell offers the largest coverage area in Turkey. Vodafone has good coverage in cities and resorts, but in rural areas you can be left without a connection. The large coverage area and affordable prices of the Avea operator have made it popular among young people and tourists. "Sims" are sold at operators' offices, supermarkets and newsstands for 10-30 TRY. At the same time, a tariff package worth 10-50 TRY is purchased, which includes a certain number of minutes of calls and Internet traffic. With Avea's Alo Avrupa tariff package (29 TRY), a call to Russia costs only 0.17 TRY per minute.

According to Turkish law, a phone imported into the country must be registered at the operator's office, which costs 150 TRY. Otherwise, after 60 days, the local SIM card will be blocked.

You can call to Russia from street payphones using Turk Telecom cards, which are sold in all stores. A card worth 50 TRY is enough for 60 minutes of calls to landlines or 30 minutes to mobiles. Free WI-Fi is available in all hotels, in most restaurants, cafes and bars, on many beaches.

Belek Hotels

The pride and main attraction of Belek are the five-star hotels lined up on the first line. Each of them is like a small state with its own territory, beach, swimming pools and a lot of everything necessary for complete detachment from the outside world. True, living in such a state is not cheap - at the peak of the season, a double room costs at least 920 TRY per day. As an undeniable bonus - meals on the "all inclusive" system.

4 * hotels are almost as good as more "star" counterparts. Their main drawback is their remoteness from the sea. And although everyone has their own beach, you have to get there either on foot (10-15 minutes) or on the hotel's free shuttle. All Inclusive - 855 TRY per night. This is probably why the rooms in the "four-star" are the most scarce in Belek.

3* hotels in Belek can be counted on the fingers of one hand. They are located a 10-minute drive from the sea, and a room with a full board in them costs from 420 TRY. Despite the modest prices and small areas, the hotels always have a restaurant and a swimming pool.

Beaches

The coastal strip of Belek with a length of 16 km is almost completely divided between 5 * hotels. Their wide beaches with golden sand and gentle entry into the sea are framed on one side by pine and eucalyptus forests, on the other - by the clearest blue sea. Every evening the sand is cleaned and leveled by special machines. The infrastructure of the beaches includes a lifeguard service, awnings and parasols, beach towel stands, sun loungers, changing rooms, showers, toilets, cafes and minibars. Guests of all-inclusive hotels can use all this for free.

"Strangers" from other hotels are easily recognized by the color of the bracelets and are resolutely expelled by the guards.

For hotel guests on the second line and the residents of Belek themselves, there are two public beaches - in the east and west of the coastal strip. You can get to them by dolmush, which run every 30 minutes, or by free shuttles from hotels. The cleanliness and infrastructure of these beaches is not much inferior to the "five-star". True, you have to pay separately for umbrellas, sunbeds, lunch at a cafe, cocktails at a bar and other beach pleasures. But there are football and volleyball courts, picnic areas in the shade of pine trees, go-kart tracks and a variety of water activities - windsurfing, kiting, jet skis, bananas and bagels. Rent an umbrella and two sun loungers on a public beach - 43 TRY per day, banana ride - 56 TRY, parasailing - about 200 TRY.

shopping

Respectable Belek is not the best cheap place for shopping. Prices here are about 25% higher than in neighboring Antalya. Shopping can be done without leaving the hotel - each of them has shops, boutiques and souvenir shops. It is even better to go to the village of Belek itself. Its streets are, in fact, one big stall with a huge selection of jewelry, quality clothes made of leather, fur, and textiles. An unusually large assortment of blouses, jeans, tops, skirts and, of course, swimwear.

Local specificity - shops with clothes, accessories and sports equipment for golf.

In addition to Turkish brands, there are also world brands, but their prices are excessively high. Many stores represent well-known Turkish retail chains such as LC Waikiki. Almost every one has Russian-speaking staff. You can pay in Turkish liras, dollars, euros and even rubles.

With such an abundance of shops, it is difficult to leave Belek without souvenirs. Among the most popular are all kinds of ceramics, Turkish sweets, embroidered slippers with curved toes, coffee pots with a copper bottom, fruit teas and traditional tulip-shaped cups for them. On Saturdays from 9:00 to 15:00, a bazaar is arranged on the streets diverging from the mosque. On Mehmet Akif Ersoy Caddesi there is a brisk trade in vegetables and fruits, on Ataturk Caddesi street - things. The initial price, as elsewhere in the East, is conditional, but the sellers of Belek, accustomed to wealthy buyers, are reluctant to make concessions.

Cuisine and restaurants

It is difficult to stay hungry in Belek's all-inclusive hotels. But sooner or later, many have a desire to escape from these tenacious embraces. To do this, there are "a la carte" restaurants, the menu of which includes the best dishes of world cuisine - from Turkish and European to Japanese and Mexican. But do not forget - Belek is a very expensive resort, and the prices in such restaurants bite. A romantic dinner with author's dishes from the chef, with a sea view and wine will cost 300-500 TRY per person.

Even if a service charge is included in the bill of the a la carte restaurant, this money is unlikely to reach the waiter. Therefore, tips are quite appropriate.

Affordable prices and authentic cuisine can be found outside the hotels. In the center of Belek, there are several interesting restaurants and cafes that enjoy a high reputation among tourists. One of the most popular is Adana Ocakbasi, which specializes in meat dishes. Especially good in it are chicken shish kebab “tavuk shish-kebab”, fried wings “kanat izgara”, lamb ribs “kaburga-kebab” and, especially for vegetarians, vegetable “sebzeli-kebab”. Lunch here will cost quite humane 100 TRY. The Deniz restaurant prepares fish and seafood, while Pinokyo offers lasagna (30 TRY) and spaghetti (20-23 TRY), and is no worse than in Italy itself. You can have a snack on the go by buying a bagel with sesame seeds (2-3 TRY) or a doner kebab - fried meat wrapped in a flatbread (10-12 TRY) from street vendors.

Entertainment and attractions of Belek

It is wrong to believe that Belek is exclusively a beach holiday. 30 km from it lie the ruins of ancient Perge, founded by the Achaean Greeks who fled from the defeated Troy. Like 2000 years ago, the entrance to it lies through the South Gate with huge round towers. From them begins a street with a colonnade, leading to the agora, where people's meetings were once held and the incendiary speeches of the Apostle Paul sounded. Under the rule of Rome and the patronage of the goddess Artemis - "Queen of Perge", the city experienced its heyday. A significant part of its buildings belong to this era: baths, the remains of temples and fortress walls, nymphery, a theater and the largest stadium in Asia Minor.

From the East Gate of Perge begins the road to the ancient Sillion, lying on a plateau about 80 m high. This city of ancient Pamphylia was hardly touched by the archaeologist's shovel and, turning off the beaten path, it is easy to feel like Indiana Jones. In 1969, the Sillion was badly damaged by a landslide that demolished part of the amphitheater, and care must be taken when examining it.

Aspendos Amphitheater, which is 18 km from Belek, is perfectly preserved. By its gigantic size, one can judge how big this city was in ancient times. Today, performances and concerts are still staged on the 2000-year-old stage. Behind the amphitheater, down the slope of the mountain, the ruins of the agora, thermae and the basilica are scattered. And below on the plain you can see the largest aqueduct in Anatolia, “worked by the slaves of Rome.”

The hit of the season is the annual International Opera and Ballet Festival, where the world's best theater groups perform.

Aspendos lies in the lower reaches of the Kopruchay River, which in its upper reaches makes its way through a picturesque mountain canyon. At its narrowest point, the ancient Roman bridge Oluk, 27 m high, is thrown over it. Köprüçay is a popular rafting place (price from the hotel with transfer, lunch and insurance - from 140 TRY; on the spot about 10% cheaper). The descent begins 100 m from the Roman bridge, where the river, expanding, forms a quiet backwater. The length of the route is about 11 km, the category of difficulty is 2-3 points on the international scale.

6 things to do in Belek

  1. Enjoy the sea, sun and clean air on one of the the best resorts Turkish Riviera.
  2. Grind your heels on the different-sized sand of the local beaches, burning on a hot afternoon and giving coolness if you dig deeper.
  3. Taste the delicious trout, which is found in abundance in the local Kopruchay River and, accordingly, is often served at the table of tourists who have arrived in Belek.
  4. Admire the Koprulu Canyon, which stretches along the river for 14 km. By the way, this is only one of the seven picturesque gorges formed by the mountain river.
  5. Go to a semi-wild beach 8 km from the city, belonging to the Robinson Club hotel and, if you're lucky, get on a walk with a guide through the picturesque surroundings.
  6. Dare to raft - however, with experienced instructors, a water adventure promises to be more exciting than truly dangerous.

Spa centers

The names of many hotels in Belek contain the word "spa", which means that for relaxation and restoration of spiritual strength, their guests can recover from the room right in slippers and a bathrobe. However, clients "from the street" will also be welcome here.

The spa at the resort is not cheap, but some hotels include some of the procedures in the list of free services. In addition to the usual spa care, thalassotherapy is actively used here. Algae, mud and sea water intensively saturate the skin with microelements, speed up the metabolism, strengthen the immune system and promote weight loss.

The cost of procedures in the spa center of the Cornelia Diamond Golf Resort & Spa: hot stone massage - 400 TRY, foam massage in the hammam - 180 TRY, seaweed wrap - 440 TRY, thermal lifting - 600 TRY, face or breast care - 320 TRY.

The treatment programs include the most popular courses: "Anti-cellulite", "Slimming", "Anti-stress", "Anti-tobacco", "Detox", "Anti-allergy", "Young mother". Their optimal duration is 6-10 days. Among the most effective treatments are: Balinese massage, intensive shiroabhyanga massage, which has a positive effect on the hormonal system and is especially recommended after childbirth, Charcot shower and affusion massage under jets of sea water with alternating pressure and the use of aromatic oils. Turkish baths give an oriental flavor to the spa centers, many of which are quite worthy of the Ottoman sultans.

Golf in Belek

Belek quite reasonably claims the right to be called the golf capital of Turkey. Its 8 golf courses meet the highest international standards and are designed with the natural beauty of the local landscape in mind. One of the best - National Golf Club (off. site in English) with two fields for 18 and 9 holes was built for international tournaments. He has repeatedly taken honorary lines of various ratings, including 4th place in the "List of the 100 best golf courses in the world." National is intended primarily for professional players, and its high status is confirmed by a strict dress code and corresponding prices (2400 TRY for two for 6 hours of training).

The golf season in Belek starts in September, lasts all winter and ends with the onset of the summer heat.

Beginners can take a closer look at Tat Golf Belek International Golf Club, where special express programs have been developed for those who pick up a club for the first time.

Belek for children

Visiting the Troya water park in Belek with children is a sacred duty of every self-respecting parent. It is really made in the style of Homeric Troy - with towers, walls, a legendary wooden horse 25 m high, antique amphorae and animators dressed and armed in ancient Greek. Every day it is besieged by thousands of tourists from all the surrounding resorts. True, unlike its prototype, the modern Troy opens its gates to everyone who has paid the entrance fee (the price of an adult / child ticket is 370 / about 200 TRY). In addition to various slides for children and adults, waterfalls, pools with standing waves and other attractions, there is a dolphinarium in the park. At 11:00 and 14:30 there is a show with dolphins, sea lions and walruses. For 170 TRY you can take a photo with a dolphin, and for another 500 TRY you can ride it.

Mild winters, plenty of sunny warm days and indoor swimming pools help keep the flow of tourists steady even during the low season. From the end of October until May, the hotels are filled with golf lovers - at this time the weather is just perfect for them. But in the evening a warm jacket can come in handy.

I remember Belek as a luxury resort with amazing hotels, the entrance to which is strictly guarded. Thus, you find yourself in a real artificial paradise-oasis, where no one can disturb you.

The complex of these hotels usually includes its own water park, a dozen restaurants and bars, and many playgrounds. Some hotels have golf courses, and all large ones have their own beaches, because they are located right on the first coastline. In these complexes, as a rule, there are two or three wings or separate buildings, and they are quite self-sufficient: you can spend a week on the territory, and every day in terms of leisure will not be like another.

Belek can be described as a very sophisticated resort, but not at all sightseeing. There are a few interesting places, which are worth visiting for tourists, but the main show takes place on the territory of the hotels themselves.

You know, everything is expensive in Belek: housing, restaurants, small purchases, souvenirs - absolutely everything, since it is designed specifically for tourists who are prosperous in every sense. How much experience and comfort you get in this place depends proportionally on the cost of the hotel room. Personally, I would advise going to Belek only to those who can afford to rent a double room for at least 250 USD per night.

I remember Belek as just an ideal resort, but primarily due to the fact that I stayed in a 5-star hotel and spent a fortune on it. For the same money, you can relax for two full months, renting apartments in Alanya, Antalya or Marmaris, eating at home and in the usual fast food, but in general, this experience can be called a perfect vacation for one hundred percent.

By train

In this part of Turkey there is no railway connection in principle.

By bus

From Russia there is no way to easily get to Kemer by bus. There is only a long way with transfers in Moldova, Bulgaria and Istanbul or in Georgia and Ankara. In general, such a journey will take several days and will even be three to four times more expensive than air travel.

From Saint-Petersburg

From St. Petersburg to Belek by car, it is better to get through the countries of Europe, along the way seeing local attractions. The length of such a route is about 4,100 kilometers; you will spend 45–50 hours on the road.

In this case, you need an open Schengen visa, as well as a visa to Serbia if you are not a citizen of the Russian Federation (visa-free regime for Russians staying in the country for less than 30 days).

When is the season. When is the best time to go

There are a lot of all-inclusive hotels here, which open the season in early April and end at the end of October. From July 1 to August 25, the weather is very, very hot. In addition, the best service and completeness of service in restaurants all inclusive precisely during this period. Queues are possible in some places, but they can be easily avoided by choosing a hotel of a higher class.

Of course, I recommend going at the height of summer, then it will be a real hot Turkish vacation. However, the air temperature can rise to +40 ° C, which not everyone can easily endure. If you are one of those people, I would advise you June (not too hot month with cool water) and September as the beginning of the velvet season.

Belek in summer

Belek in the summer is a real hot stove! The average air temperature is 33 °С, water - 25–29 °С. On many days of July and August, as I already said, it can be +40 ° C outside. The hottest time of the day is approximately from 13:00 to 16:00, when it is not recommended to leave shady corners even for 5-10 minutes, especially without a hat.

I would advise all lovers of heat to go to Belek in July or August. This is the traditional holiday season in Turkey. The "dangerous" hours can be waited out on the territory of the hotel: there are enough places for relaxing in the shade and interesting entertainment.

Belek in autumn

Throughout September and also October, you can enjoy not only beautiful weather in Belek, but also a fairly high temperature of the water in the sea, quite suitable for swimming. If the pool of the complex is in the sun, then in October you can swim in it, regardless of the presence of heating.

In addition, in the fall, all-inclusive hotels have decent discounts that can help you save up to 1,000 USD on the same package for four family members. So if you don't like too hot weather, best time to visit Belek - the first two weeks of September or even September - October (daytime temperature - + 26–30 ° С, water - +26 ° С).

Belek in spring

Belek in the spring is not very suitable for a beach holiday, only from May 15 you can hope for slightly cool water, suitable for swimming with children. If you are going to Belek in April - May, be sure to make sure that your hotel pool has water heating.

To sunbathe, of course, you can go in the second half of March, April and May, but for a perfect vacation with swimming, it is better to choose the summer months. If you want to save on the cost of a hotel room, book it for September or October, not for May.

Most likely, heat-loving tourists will not want to swim here in May and even in early June. However, the air temperature is ideal for sunbathing and summer holidays.

Belek in winter

Belek in winter is completely unsuitable for tourists who love a beach holiday, as most hotels are simply closed and the streets are deserted. The average temperature during the day is + 14 °С, at night - +8 °С, the water temperature is only +17 °С.

If you are looking for where to go to relax in the winter, it is better to choose or, always wonderful! In the cold season, only golfers will be interested in Belek, as there are several famous golf centers in the city, where championships and competitions are held in winter, and open hotels are open all year round.

If you want to celebrate New Year in your beloved Turkey in Belek, know that some hotels work all year round at a decent level of service. Choose the one that has a heated indoor pool, hamam and New Year's Eve party, then you will get an excellent vacation!

Districts. Where is the best place to live

In that resort town There are four major regions:

  1. Coastline, entirely occupied by hotels. It is better to stay here for those who want luxury and chic during the holidays. You need to be prepared to pay 180-650 USD per day for a double room with full board.
  2. Center, which we used to consider an independent resort. It is best to settle here for those who want to save money on a typical 7-day vacation on rent and cook for themselves in the apartment. Average housing prices are as follows: 40-60 USD per day for a small apartment and 20-80 USD for a double room in a relatively small hotel.
  3. Kadriye- a small area near the central, built up mainly with villas. It is suitable for those who want to stay in Belek for the whole summer. Rent and having a pool here can be very tempting! On average, a villa will cost 70–150 USD per day;
  4. Serik which is a real city, not a resort. It has a northern part near the highway and a southern part near the sea. In the area near the coast, housing will cost about 200 USD for a double room in a large hotel and about 200–300 USD per month for an apartment in the center of Serik.

All areas, except for the Coastline, are at some distance from the sea. The line itself is completely occupied by expensive 4 * and 5 * hotels, which are club and very large, many of them, as I said at the beginning, have golf courses, their own water parks, dozens of restaurants, etc.

The coastline runs along the entire length of the resort, the quality of living on it depends on the "star" of the hotel, its level and service, and not on a specific location. All beaches are about the same, but those located near expensive hotels have more amenities for adults and children.

When you decide which area you need, look at the current offers and prices on one of the aggregator sites, you can. It is better to book your favorite option on. Lots of ads with villas and apartments. By the way, it is possible that there will be some profitable package tours for the duration of your trip, look.

Main attractions. What to see

Since Belek is a resort focused on 5-star hotels and golf courses, all the main attractions are outside of it. There are three historical zones in the vicinity of the city. The ancient cities, Aspendos and Perge are a must for anyone who loves antiquity, architecture and is interested in the past of different cultures.

All the main attractions, which I will discuss in more detail below, I marked on this map.

Top 5

The ancient city of Side (Side Antik Kenti) and the ruins of the temple of Apollo, 47 kilometers from Belek

The ruins of the temple of Apollo are located on the waterfront, in the most ancient city you will find a theatron (a huge ancient theater), an orchestral theater, various arches, monuments, there are partially preserved streets, columns and the remains of a city defensive wall.

All buildings were built about 2 thousand years ago. I would highly advise you to visit this attraction, since from my own experience I can say that this is the second most atmospheric ruin in Turkey after Ephesus.

How to get there

It is best to take an excursion to the Ancient City of Side at your hotel or tour desk in the center of Belek. The cost is about 35 USD.

You can get there by bus with a transfer in Serik, the transfer cost is about 4 USD (12 TRY) one way. You need to get off in Belek at the bus station, then go 2 minutes towards the Amphitheater or the Temple of Apollo following the signs (left from the bus station, the city will be on the right).

Above, I showed the route from Belek to Side by car.

Entry fee and opening hours

Entrance fee - 8 USD, separately (another 3 USD) entrance to the Bolshoi Theater is paid. Opening hours: from 9:00 to 19:00.

The ancient city of Aspendos, 18 kilometers from Belek

Another historical attraction that attracts all Belek tourists.

There is also an ancient theatre, built in 155 AD.

How to get there

I advise you to take an excursion to Aspendos from your hotel or bureau, it usually costs 15-20 USD. It is not possible to get to this attraction by bus.

Above is a map of the route from Belek to Aspendos by car.

Entry fee and opening hours

Entrance to the territory and all museums costs 7 USD. Opening hours: from 9:00 to 19:00.

Koprulu Canyon, 20 kilometers from Belek

The Koprulu National Park, like the canyon itself, is free to visit.

True, after walking along the standard route around the canyon, you will probably want to buy a ticket for rafting - rafting on a mountain river.

How to get there

You can order a transfer with rafting directly at the hotel, the price is about 20-30 USD, depending on the duration.

Driving route to the canyon:

On your own, you need to drive along the D-400 highway, then turn left before the river to the end. Important: if you go on your own and want to see the canyon itself, you need to drive beyond the site with tourist buses(who brought people for rafting) another 5-7 kilometers through the village of Beshkonak. You can see the canyon here with Turkish guides on an inflatable boat.

Cost and opening hours

You can visit the Canyon from 9:00 to 20:00. The cost of rafting is 25 USD for adults and 15 USD for children.

The ancient city of Perge (Perge), 29 kilometers from Belek

A historical landmark full of real valuable minerals.

An ancient city with a well-preserved stadium, an amphitheater, Roman baths, boulevards, where excavations are still being carried out in search of new treasures.

How to get there

You can get here on your own by bus to the neighboring village of Aksu (Belek - Antalya route), and then after 20 minutes on the right road to the north towards the mountains, following the signs.

Above you can see how to get to Perge by car.

Entry fee and opening hours

Entrance fee - 7 USD per person, Perge is open from 9:00 to 19:00.

Kursunlu Waterfalls, 35 kilometers

A unique opportunity to experience the real wild nature near the main tourist resorts (Antalya, Belek) of Turkey and visit national park.

How to get there

You can get to the Kursunlu National Park along the highway to Antalya, turning right in front of the airport onto the D-685 highway.

The best way to come here is own car, by taxi or with a tour. True, excursions are not arranged from Belek, from here everyone, as a rule, goes by taxi. The cost of a taxi one way is about 30 USD (50 USD both ways).

It turns out that a visit to the park will cost a family of four 55 USD (together with an entrance ticket). You can stay in the park any amount of time, up to closing the entire territory is available. You will be given a map-scheme, you can choose a route based on how much time you want to spend on a visit. To inspect best places, it will take 3-4 hours, the minimum route with a waterfall is 2 hours.

On the map above, I marked a waterfall, observation points, bridges over mountain rivers. Will come in handy :)

Entry fee and opening hours

The entrance fee to the national park is 1.2 USD (4 TRY). It works from 9:00 to 20:00.

Beaches. Which is better

general information

The coastline of Belek is more than 14 kilometers long - an endless string of beaches, each has sun loungers, but only guests of hotels on the first line can use them for free. For everyone else, rental will cost 3–6 USD per day for good hotel and 10 USD per day on the expensive one. Tropical tents from 60-90 USD per day for the whole company, including lunch and drinks for everyone.

However, all the beaches are so huge, wide and long that there is always a place for everyone here. For tourists who stay in the center of the resort and do not want to pay for a sun lounger, there are free zones on and between some hotel beaches.

wild beaches located to the left of the coastline of Belek, near the river. Water activities are usually available every kilometer. There are no cafes and restaurants, only those located in hotels (expensive, rarely available to non-guests). Lifeguards are at every major hotel, that is, everywhere.

All Belek beaches are sandy, some have pontoons and piers from certain hotels. You will enjoy a smooth and gentle descent into the water, convenient for children and adults.

From hotels in the center of Belek to the beaches, about 15 minutes walk (1-2 kilometers) along a flat road along picturesque luxury golf courses, and expensive 4 * and 5 * hotels, as I said, are located right by the sea. The coastline itself is about 50 meters wide, somewhere its width can reach up to 150 meters.

If you see ads for renting villas on the beach, then keep in mind that most likely they are located 1-3 kilometers west of the center of Belek in a separate suburb between the center of Belek and the center of the Kadriye district.

The beaches have no identification or names. Sometimes they are identified by the name of the hotel in front of which they are located.

The best beaches in Belek

Now I will tell you about two of my favorite beaches in Belek, among others, I marked them on the map:

Churches and temples. Which are worth a visit

Cami (Cami)

The main mosque of Belek is located in the city center, next to the square and the fountain.

It is valid, and you can enter it without paying, however, you need clothes that will cover your shoulders, head for women, no slates and shorts, only long skirts to the floor.

Museums. Which are worth a visit

Archaeological museum of Antalya

In Belek itself, you will not find a single museum, except for the museum exhibition halls in the ancient ruin cities, so I would advise you to visit the main museum of Antalya.

How to get there

The Archaeological Museum is located on Konyaaltı Cad. Below it is marked on the map along with the bus station in Antalya.

From the bus station you need to take bus number 45 to the center, then along the Konyaalti Cd. walk along the sea to the west, away from the Old City.

Cost and opening hours

The entrance ticket will cost 8 USD. The museum is open from 9:00 to 19:00.

tourist streets

There are two tourist walking areas in Belek: in the center and in Kadriye. I marked them on the map below.

Each of them has many boutiques of clothes, shoes and accessories, shops, souvenir shops, as well as cafes and restaurants.

What to see in 1 day

Belek is a fairly popular resort with many interesting places. It is very difficult to choose just one, especially when you consider that exploring and visiting many of them (ancient cities, water parks, golf) take the whole day.

Here's a compromise route for you:

  • 09:00 - to choose from: rest on the golf course, in the water park "Troy" or Land of Legends (200-300 USD) for four or five);
  • 17:00 - visiting any of the central beaches of Belek at sunset after the closing of the water park;
  • 20:00 - seafood dinner at the chic Deniz Restaurant (100 USD) for four to five people).

What to see in the surroundings

Belek is located on the Anatolian coast in Turkey, and therefore all the cities around it are also touristy, full of hotels, restaurants and tourist attractions.

The modern city of Side (45 kilometers)

A small resort east of Belek, together they share several historical sights, ruins that can be accessed from both cities.

In Side itself, apart from the ancient city of Sise, which I have already mentioned above in the “Top 5” section, there are no special attractions. However, there is a tourist bazaar, an interesting public beach outside the city with waves, and in the Manavgat area, a river with a waterfall and Observation deck overlooking a very beautiful city.

On the map above, I marked the sights and bus stations of Side and Manavgat.

Antalya (44 kilometers)

A huge city with a large Archaeological Museum, many shopping centers, shops and boutiques, an aquarium and a zoo.

Here is excellent Old city with beautiful houses, parks, the atmosphere of antiquity and interesting tourist shops with souvenirs, fashionable clothes and accessories.

Kemer (90 kilometers)

It makes sense to go here if you really like water parks and want to try another one in Kemer.

In general, the town is very small, and there is no need to go there specially from Belek.

Alanya (100 kilometers)

A small town, nevertheless, worthy of your visit. It will be of interest to those who may like a modern archaeological museum, an old castle with a tower, a walk through another beautiful Turkish city with many stunning beaches. Below you will see a map of attractions and beaches of the resort.

Read more about the beaches of Alanya.

Excursion to Pamukkale and Ephesus (more than 1,000 kilometers in both directions)

Such a two-day trip costs 100 USD. The trip will take a long time, but will show you two of Turkey's most popular attractions.

To go there long enough, I would not advise them to visit if your vacation is less than 14 days. It is much more convenient to go there from Marmaris, or Bodrum (it will not be 1,000 kilometers one way, but half less), or from (and even 200 kilometers). Nevertheless, these excursions are quite popular and are held constantly from Belek and Side.

Food. What to try

Belek is first and foremost authentic Turkish cuisine, seafood and a bit of European charm from 4- and 5-star hotels with French and Mediterranean restaurants.

I would advise you to choose only the best and most expensive establishments here, try octopus, salmon, shrimp, crabs, if your budget allows. Or limit yourself to inexpensive canteens with Turkish cuisine, doners (Turkish shawarma), lahmajuns (Turkish pizza) and grilled chicken, if your budget is modest enough.

On the map, I marked restaurants and three establishments at expensive hotels (below) that are not open to guests.

Budget

Simply Caddie Beach Restaurant- an inexpensive restaurant with delicious dishes and excellent service. It's all in one: seafood, Mediterranean, local Turkish cuisine, steaks and a separate vegetarian menu.

The cost of dinner for one of two courses is about 20–25 USD (60–70 TRY). Open from 9:00 to 23:00. Address: Uckum Tepesi Mevkii | Kadriye Beach.

Intermediate level

  • Spice Garden Indian Restaurant- a chic restaurant with a variety of Indian, Asian and Baltic cuisine. The cost of dishes is from 15 USD (35 TRY). Open from 11:00 to 1:00. Address: Atif Zengin Caddesi.
  • Ocean's Fish Greek- a wonderful seafood restaurant at the Maxx Royal hotel. Open from 12:00 to 00:00. The cost of dishes is quite high, the average bill for dinner for one is more than 30 USD (100 TRY). Address: İskele Mevki Turizm Cad.

Expensive

  • L'amante Restaurant- a stunning French restaurant at the Rixos Premium Belek. Truly European gallantry and an extensive menu. The cost of dishes is high, from 20 USD (60 TRY) for the main. The restaurant is open by appointment only from 12:00 to 00:00. Full address: İleribaşı Mevkii P.k. 116, but it is better to search simply by the name of the hotel.
  • Le Jardin- Another excellent French restaurant at the Gloria Serenity Resort. The average check for one is about 30 USD (100 TRY). Open by appointment, open from 18:00 to 23:00. Full address: Belek Mahallesi, Acisu Mevkii; but, again, it is better to search by the name of the hotel.
  • Deniz Restaurant- it's a great varied menu, lots of local fresh seafood and a city center location. The average check for two is about 60 USD (180 TRY), a seafood dish will cost 20–35 USD (60–100 TRY). Opening hours from 9:00 to 23:00. Address: Akdeniz Mah. Atif Zengin Cad.

Holidays

In winter and summer, Belek hosts a huge number of competitions, tournaments and sporting events. And at the peak of the tourist season, numerous competitions, beach volleyball competitions and other summer games are held.

But the most amazing show in this region can be seen in the ancient city of Aspend, which hosts the International Opera and Ballet Festival, which attracts about 20 thousand people from all over the world. In different years it was held in June, July and September. If you want to attend this year, please check the dates in advance.

In addition, Belek as a resort is aimed at Russian tourists, so many hotels host concerts of Russian pop stars.

Safety. What to watch out for

Belek, compared to other cities in Turkey, such as or, is a very expensive resort. Here you will find it difficult to find both a cheap restaurant and a cheap hotel. In addition, the upper bar for any purchase is also high in principle, because most of the tourists here are visitors to 4- and 5-star hotels who have paid more than 1,000 USD for their weekly vacation per person.

High prices are the only thing to be wary of in a small and hospitable Belek, immersed in the greenery of mountains and golf courses, with endless beaches and excellent housing.

Things to do

In Belek, the best entertainment takes place on the basis of the most expensive 5-star hotels. Here you will find an evening show, and children's animation, and performances of music and dance groups. Shopping in Belek is far from being as good as in neighboring major city, so it makes sense to go there for clothes, shoes, accessories.

On the territory of large hotels, real autonomous life is seething: it has its own water parks, several parks and swimming pools, a beach, boutiques and shops, up to 15 restaurants and bars per hotel. From the hotels you can easily go on an excursion to the ancient cities with a Russian-speaking guide.

There are many amusement parks and golf clubs in Belek, here are the most popular of them:

More golf clubs in Belek and I marked on this map:

Here are the water parks:

Shopping and shops

There is only one shopping center in Belek - YKM Sport, and it has a fairly simple assortment: just a few clothing, perfume and accessories stores. Address shopping center: Beylikler CD, 07500 Kadriye. Open from 10:00 to 23:00.

Bars. Where to go

The best and most expensive bars, of course, are in 5-star hotels, but there are a couple of interesting places in the center

  • Gardner's Bar- a cheap British pub on 22nd street (Akdeniz Mah) in the center of Belek. There is also a kitchen with the most popular English dishes. A warm welcome awaits you from hostess Kim and her daughter Lacey. Open from 11:00 to 2:00. The cost of food and drinks will pleasantly surprise you, the average bill for dinner is about 20 USD (60 TRY).
  • Players Lounge- a great bar with European snacks. The cost of drinks - from 3 USD (10 TRY). Open from 11:00 to 1:00. Located at: Belek Mah. 45. Sokak, No. 10A/A.

Clubs and nightlife

In most large hotels, evening parties, discos, various performances are held until 1-2 am. Check the schedule for each specific hotel. Many hotels also have real nightclubs, like in Titanic Belek (pictured below).

Since there are few hotels without animation and night shows in this region, there is only one in Belek night club - sos disco, which cannot be called real, since it is mainly used by locals. I would not recommend you visit it.

extreme sports

There are several options for sports recreation in Belek, all of them are available in the format of excursions from hotels:

  • Jeep safari held from morning to evening, usually includes breakfast and lunch, costs from 20 USD per person.
  • Rafting and canoeing is held from morning to evening in the area of the Köprülu canyon. You can organize a rafting tour from the hotel, you can come to the place and agree personally. Cost - from 25 USD per person. For those who want less drive and more relaxation, there is the option of canoeing down the river! It will cost from 20 USD per person.
  • Mountaineering(V national park"Koprulu") - the opportunity to climb a rock in the national park, it is hard to miss for someone for whom it was a childhood dream! Bookings can be made at the tour desk at your hotel. Cost - from 30 USD.
  • Water sports- in many animation programs of Belek hotels there are parasailing, water skiing, banana, windsurfing, catamaran, speed boats, water bikes, super-marble, franting, sailing. Cost - from 10 USD.
  • horseback riding booked as an excursion, cost about 20-50 USD per person, take about half a day. An interesting pastime for those who love horses!
  • Golf- you can stay in a hotel with its own golf course, as well as try the courses of neighboring hotels. The cost of playing 18 holes is about 50–150 USD (depending on the hotel and course) for a group of up to 5 people, another 30 USD will have to be paid for renting a golf cart.

Souvenirs. What to bring as a gift

There are no remarkable locally produced souvenirs in Belek.

Souvenir mosaic lamps, Turkish delicacies such as Turkish delight and pishmanye, as well as textiles remain traditional.

On the map above, I noted the concentration of Belek's outlets, including souvenir shops.

How to move around the city

Belek is a fairly small resort, and the easiest way to get around the city is by taxi rather than buses. Cars are yellow with black checkers, parked in so many places: near hotels, in the center and at the main tourist attractions.

Taxi. What features exist

You can order a taxi at Belek-Taxi by phone: 0543 535 42 98. The staff speaks Russian, English, Turkish. Remember that you only need to name where to pick you up from and where to bring you. There are no special rules of etiquette and payment, tips are welcome. It is important that you can take a taxi back and forth with an unlimited amount of time spent in a restaurant or on the malls, this or another taxi driver of this company will pick you up, and in the round-trip format it will be cheaper. You can also stop a taxi on the street, just by waving your hand - this is a common practice in Turkey.

Here . Most firms have mopeds, convertibles, luxury cars.

You can also rent a car in the city, just walking around the center, where there are several rental companies (I marked them on the map below). Then you can see exactly the car you want to borrow and even get a discount when you bargain.

You can only rent a car from the age of 19, as they often require a driving experience of 1 year, but in practice you have the opportunity to rent a car even at the age of 18, if you look the part :). An expensive car is most often not given to persons under 25 years old, and this mainly concerns Russian, not European tourists.

To rent, you will need a passport, an international driver's license, sometimes you need to leave a deposit.

Belek is a fairly convenient resort in order to see almost the entire Anatolian coast of Turkey.

If you rent a car, I wholeheartedly recommend a ride to the places that I marked on the map above.

Belek - holidays with children

If you are going to rest in Belek with a child, be sure to choose a more expensive hotel with a more spacious pool and slides. Even if you are planning a trip to the water park, it is good that the hotel also has several slides for every day.

The best scenario for spending a vacation with a child is no trips to the edge of geography: once to the city center for shopping, once to a water park, maximum another excursion to ancient city(Aspendos,). The rest of the time - restaurant, swimming pool, beach. It is better to devote more time to the pool than to the beach, as there is an opportunity to relax in the shade on the playgrounds and patios, restaurants and cafes are nearby, and it is much more interesting for children to play in the pool than in the sea.

I would advise you hotels like The Land of Legends 5 * or Bellis 5 * with the best landscaped areas, slides for children. Or Club Prive, as an example for those who like a more private environment, rather than vast territories, while this hotel is still very convenient for games and leisure for children.

In Belek, your priorities are not the distance to the water park, but the territory of the hotel itself, including the number and size of slides, the number of pools, the presence of empty terraces for games near them, the possibility of comfortable jumping into the water and artificial lagoons (including literally from the villa, as in Club Prive), etc.

!

Rent a Car- also aggregation of prices from all distributors, all in one place, let's go!

Have something to add?

Belek is located 45 km from Antalya, which makes international Airport Antalya is the closest airport to the resort. There are several ways to get from Antalya Airport to Belek: order an individual transfer, get to the Antalya bus station, from where you can go to Belek by bus or use a taxi. So, let's go in order: there are many transfer companies operating in the direction of Antalya Airport - Belek, but all of them are united by the fact that the transfer must be ordered in advance by filling out the form on the website or by calling.

The websites of most companies provide all the necessary information (prices, number of passengers, cars, etc.), for example, Via Transfer - www.viarentacar.com, AntalyaTransfer - www.antalyaairporttransfer.ru and BelekTransfer - www.belektransfer.com.

The second way is more economical, but more time and effort consuming, requires you to get to the Antalya bus station, and you can do this by Havas or Antalya Büyükşehir Belediye Otobüsleri buses, as well as a taxi where you can transfer to the bus to Belek.
A taxi ride from the airport to Belek will cost you from $ 80, the cost should be agreed in advance.

In the case of a holiday in Belek, choosing between hotels, villas and apartments, you should probably choose the first ones. Most Belek hotels have 4-5 stars, are located on the 1st line, and have a huge territory often equipped with tennis courts, several swimming pools and, of course, golf courses. The best hotels in the resort are the following hotels: Adam&Eve, Gloria Golf Resort, Rixos Premium, Gloria Verde Resort&SPA, Cornelia De luxe, Susesi De Luxe, Ela Quallity and IC Santai.

There are only a few hotels in the resort and, basically, they are located on the second or even third coastline. Book hotel in Belek It is possible on such Internet resources as: Booking. com or Ebookers.com, as well as directly on the site of the selected hotel.

You can choose and book a villa or apartment in Belek on the following websites: VillaRenters (www.villarenters.com) or AntalyaHomes (www.antalyahomes.com), and of course, you should make a reservation in advance, saving your money and time.

Belek Transport

Of the public transport in Belek, there are only dolmushi and taxis. On dolmush you can move around the resort and between the villages of the resort, and some dolmush can even take you to Antalya, Kemer or Side. Please note that dolmush do not run at night, so if necessary, you will have to take a taxi. The fare in dolmush starts from 2 Turkish liras or 1 US dollar. Some hotels provide their guests with free services to Antalya or nearby villages, some hotels charge a small fee for this.

Taxis in Belek look traditional for Turkey - these are yellow cars, which are easy to recognize. The fare should be based on the principle of landing and each subsequent kilometer of the route, but since Belek is a resort town, it is better to agree on the price in advance before landing.

Most of the beaches in Belek are owned by hotels, which makes them free for hotel guests. Apart from developed infrastructure And high level service, the beaches of Belek boast a considerable number of Blue Flags. The coast of Belek stretches for almost 20 km, and pine-eucalyptus forests almost come close to the beaches.

Sandy or sandy-pebbly, the entrance to the sea is gentle, and the water is crystal clear. On the beaches of Belek, sea turtles lay their eggs, so some of the resort's beaches are nature reserves.

There are no cultural and historical attractions directly in Belek or in nearby resort settlements. The only thing that can be classified as a natural monument is the Kapryulu Canyon National Park, which occupies an area of about 500 hectares.

The park is a cypress-eucalyptus forest, where several species of unique birds live, such as Tuto-Alba owl, as well as caretta-caretta turtles. In the park, you can not only walk and enjoy communication with nature, but also go horseback riding, climbing and some water sports, such as rafting on a mountain river.

Not far from Belek is the ancient city of Perge, built in the 7th century BC. Today, only ruins remain of the ancient city, namely the sacrificial altar to Artemis, the ancient city center - Agora, monumental gates, an amphitheater for 12 thousand spectators and the remains of Roman baths.

Also nearby is another ancient city- Aspendos. The main attraction of Aspendos is the well-known ancient theater, built in the 2nd century BC, and capable of accommodating 17,000 spectators and 500 orchestra musicians. To this day, various concerts and festivals are held annually in the theater. In addition to the theater, Aspendos has preserved a stadium, a basilica, 3 necropolises, an agora and baths.

Outbound tours of Belek coincide with the outbound tours of other resorts on the Mediterranean coast of Turkey, namely: an excursion to Pamukkale and Cappadocia, an excursion to the cities of Demre, Mira and Kekova. They also often offer boat trips and sightseeing tour across Antalya.

Things to Do in Belek

Belek is a quiet and peaceful resort without a bright nightlife, as, for example, in Bodrum or Marmaris, however, Belek cannot be compared even with Antalya or Kemer.

Of course, there are bars and small discos in the resort, but there are no large nightclubs, and, basically, all "life" is concentrated on the territory of hotels. Hotels regularly hold discos on their territory, and large hotels often invite celebrities to concerts. The hotels also offer horseback riding, individual and group sports, water sports and, of course, golf as entertainment.

The best golf courses not only in Belek, but also in Turkey are: National Golf Club, Gloria, Robinson Nobilis and Tat Golf International.
