It’s a pity, of course, that we lost to the Canadians, whom we were chasing the whole match with 0:2 and looked decent and cheerful throughout the game, in overtime, in the minority. And the hero of Pyeongchang, Kirill Kaprizov, earned a fateful removal. I don't know if the judge would be right. Most likely, yes. But I would not give such a removal at such a moment. In any case, we have ourselves to blame - we lost by three goals.
Canada remains an inconvenient and principled rival for us - 7 years without defeating them at major tournaments (we only defeated them at the Channel One Cup, but there the guests had a squad without NHL players), but for some reason there is a feeling that the situation will soon will become different and we will not be ashamed with joyful emotions, and not with sadness from another defeat.

The 13th day of play has ended at the World Hockey Championship in Denmark.
