A guide to visiting the Invasion rock festival. An ideal option for purchasing tickets for the Invasion

  1. Excuse: no one will ever be able to answer you specifically which set of things will be ideal for you. Further there will be only advice and explanations; you will have to collect food and gear yourself.
This will be a large section, somehow I couldn’t divide it logically, I apologize).

To decide what to take with you, you need to know what the festival itself has to offer).

Eat: water(drinking and technical), shower facilities with toilets of the classic type “M” and “Jo” (with ceramic friends), ordinary transportable plastic ones toilets(in common parlance there are “blue booths”, although there are also green ones), food(all kinds), and health care. In principle, you don’t have to take anything else except a thicker wad of money and fit into someone’s tent (or rent it). But this, of course, is a fierce extreme).

You will have to take everything else with you)).

So, in order.

Water. Drinking water on the festival grounds can ONLY be purchased from “Social Water” trucks. Trucks are constantly arriving, and the water will never run out. A 5 liter bottle costs 200 rubles. There is no point in thinking about whether it is expensive or cheap, since there are no other options. Any liquids to be brought into the festival are prohibited, in any container. As you know, this rule applies to any public events. Those who arrive by car are luckier. Factory-packed water is easily passed through. In addition, we remember that the parking lot is not the territory of the festival; you can go to the nearest village and bring water from the store.

Water trucks are located to the right of the Main Stage. There they are, dear ones)

I advise that after you set up your tent, immediately go get water and buy it at the rate of 10 liters per person for 3 days (or 2 buckets) at least. Set up a tent and forget about the problem of drinking water. Also, if possible, obtain an empty 0.5 or 1 liter bottle in any way. You can take an empty plastic bottle with you through the security checkpoint. Or buy some drink in a bottle of the size you like at the market stalls. This is necessary in order to carry clean drinking water with you in a small volume. Carrying five liters with you is nice, but stupid).

After the first five-liter bottle has run out, you shouldn’t throw it away. It is very useful for storing technical water for washing, toothbrushing and head washing. Process water is free and unlimited. It can be easily obtained at any time by reaching any accessible building called “Shower”. There is a pipe attached to the side from which the required water flows, which is pumped from the nearest well. The water is not meant for drinking and is freezing cold. Since no one needs snot, we throw a bottle of technical water into a tent or car. In 6-8 hours of daylight, the water will heat up to a very, very pleasant temperature. Voila)). Well, or stand in line for a paid (250-300 rubles) and, to put it mildly, not warm shower.

On the right, near the wall, people are standing near a pipe with taps for industrial water.

Shower. There are three of them:

Access to showers in the town of Sverdlovsk is unlimited. To get to it you need to go into the town and immediately turn left. Go all the way).
You can get to the shower in the town of Leningrad from the VIP zone or from the town of Leningrad. Therefore, holders of a VIP entrance (both with and without a “Leningrad town” bracelet) and holders of a FAN entrance + “Leningrad town” bracelet have access to this soul.
In the town of "Moscow" the shower is in the farthest corner from the entrance to the town, where only the faucet is drawn. “The booths are plastic, the outside is the same as a toilet. Only green and inside the shower and tray. Quite comfortable for washing. By the way, there was also a washbasin next to the shower stalls” - Olga Pashova

Toilets: As you can see in the picture, the shower is combined with a toilet-type establishment). There (and only there) there are ordinary toilets. There were 2 such multifunctional “houses” (in the General Town, now the Sverdlovsk Town, and in one of the VIP towns, which is now called “Leningrad”). Whether there will be another shower-toilet in the Moscow Town is unknown.

So in the vast majority of cases, you will use a different design, called the “blue booth”.

It must be said about the booths that every year their cleanliness and number increase. This is a great merit to the organizers, who pay special attention to this issue. The booths are CONSTANTLY washed. All the toilet horrors that happened at “Invasion” are long in the past.

Toilet life hacks)) are:

  • There is no paper there, so you need to take toilet paper or napkins with you, as well as antibacterial wipes for “wiping your hands”)).
  • The booths are in long enough rows, so you don’t have to be stupid and stand in line for the nearest booths. Move on, there will probably be free seats there.
  • Often (especially in the hangover morning) there is a situation where there are even lines of 3-5 people along the entire length of the toilet row. It is clear that the first reaction is to choose the shortest line and stand in it. This is mistake. You need to walk straight along the booths and lightly pull the doors. Somewhere at booth 5-7, to the surprise of people standing in line, you will find a free one. After that, you can safely use it to your heart’s content, and people will be busy asking: “Why, was it possible?” But here without arrogance, of course.

Creative))) You don’t need to do that, it’s just a joke)

Since it is clear that in order to be completely immersed in the atmosphere of blue-cabin reality, you first need to put something into yourself, let’s talk about food).

!!!How much money should you take with you!!!

It is impossible to say exactly how much money you need to take. A huge number of factors influence this: whether you drink beer or not, how much store-bought food you eat, whether you will buy souvenirs, spend money on entertainment... I’ll tell you about myself - I spent ON THE FIELD (i.e. without tickets, the cost of food that I brought with me, travel there and back) for all 3 days ~ 9,000 - 10,000 rubles. I practically did not limit myself to beer, I ate something once, and bought drinking water without restrictions. 80% of costs are beer.

In case of extreme weather (like in 2017), you must have:

Tent- only two-layer. So that under the pressure of the wind the outer layer does not stick to the inner layer and the rain does not seep through, we carefully tighten the guy wires.
Mattress— an air mattress on the floor of the tent. If water suddenly floods in, it will remain at the bottom of the tent and you will be dry.
Sleeping bag— the lower the comfort temperature, the better. It’s better to sleep naked in a warm sleeping bag than to shiver in three sweaters in a cold one. There is no point in taking it above 0° if it rains on the field. The sleeping bag was +10° cold at night in a tent in a normal summer.
Raincoat- must be a good expensive rubberized one. You can take thin cellophane in addition for an emergency.
Boots- thick rubber ones up to the knee.
Stretch film— we wrap our legs with film over our pants from the heels to the butt, and put our legs in boots. This will protect you from moisture, wind and dirt. You can wrap the sleeves.

Socks- your feet will be wet even in boots. Therefore, we take socks at the rate of two pairs for one day. Socks don't dry in the tent. We also take warm wool socks to bed at night.
Trousers- It’s better to take one pair of pants - one day. If they get wet, there will be no place to dry.
Hat, thin fleece gloves, plenty of warm clothes - 2-3 sets.

About 10 days in advance, start monitoring the weather in Konakovo. If it rains, even lightly, be prepared for mud. The field will be torn up by heavy equipment and will not have time to dry out.

Festival Invasion It has been going on for many years and I have heard about its scale for a long time. As a rock lover, I was extremely interested in attending this event, but it just didn’t work out. And finally, in the summer of 2015, I did it. Many remain delighted with the Invasion, I had mixed feelings (perhaps because before the trip I only returned from two weeks ago), but I really really liked it ( update 2018 I liked it so much that now I go every year and the information in the article is always relevant). I advise everyone to experience the Invasion at least once.

First hours at the festival

Yes, yes, the expression “survive the Invasion” is used for a reason, and then you will understand it. When preparing for the trip to Nashestvo, I did not find any rational information on the visit. Yes, over so many years there have already been hundreds of discussions on forums, but by the time you read them all, you can turn gray. There is a big manual called first-rate reading, there is information on 23 A4 sheets on which all the nuances are described in colors. I highly recommend reading it. But not all the questions I had before visiting the Invasion are explained there. Plus, the real situation was different on some issues. That's why I'm writing mine short and really useful story in addition(!) to the first reading.

Which ticket to buy for Invasion

With a regular entrance ticket to the invasion, you can simply enter the festival grounds once and if you need to leave, you won’t be allowed back in. I bought tickets back in February. Then they went up in price several times. You can buy tickets directly in front of the festival grounds for about 50-70% more than their original cost.

If you have no problems with finances, feel free to take a FAN ticket. It's just that with a regular admission ticket you will be about 150 meters from the stage. In front of the stage there is a FAN zone and then the rest of the field. They are separated by a fence and riot police, so you won’t be able to get closer to the stage with an entrance ticket.

This is approximately where you will be if you buy a regular one admission ticket on Invasion

To enter and exit the festival grounds, you can buy a VIP ticket, or you can buy a parking ticket (even if you don’t have a car). For one parking ticket they give two bracelets (i.e. for two people), and these bracelets will allow you to walk back and forth without hindrance.

Ticket tent caused indignation. Officially, a ticket to place a tent in a tent city is required. But neither at the entrance to the field, nor to the territory of a regular tent camp, no one asked for this ticket, and no bracelet was given. Everyone could pitch a tent just like that. They asked for tickets to the VIP town, but there is no point in spending money on it at all - there is no difference in quality - why pay more?

UPD 2017— they ask for a ticket for a tent at the main entrance if they see that you have a tent in your hands. If in hand no tent or it's not visible, they don’t ask for a ticket.

An ideal option for purchasing tickets for the Invasion

FAN ticket, plus parking. Let me clarify right away that this is based on price/quality ratio and in my opinion. If you are not traveling by car, then there are two options. Buy FAN and regular parking or just buy a VIP ticket. Now look at the money yourself.

For those with a car. We arrived in Bolshoye Zavidovo at about 5 am on the first day of the Invasion and even then we stood in traffic for 4 hours just to get into the parking lot. We stood for another hour on the way back. In addition, it was necessary to walk about two kilometers from the tent to the car.

There is no need to buy a ticket for the tent in advance. Even if you don’t get a chance to pitch a tent without a ticket, you can buy one for not much more money right on the spot.

For those with a car. You can try placing a tent next to your car in the parking lot (if it won’t disturb others). Yes, officially you can’t do that. But in reality, half of the parking lot was dotted with tents. The main thing is to behave like a human being. In any case, no one will kick you out and will simply ask you to remove the tent.

These are the creative T-shirts people had at the festival

About tickets, I would also like to note that the Invasion festival is a really profitable thing, because tickets for a concert of one artist now cost 2-3 thousand rubles, and at the Invasion you can hear dozens of your favorite performers over three days with a super atmosphere in just 2 times more expensive.

What food to take for the Invasion

I’ve read a lot of holivars on this subject and haven’t seen an ideal option, everyone has different needs. I will write what I took, but I love to eat and the food is delicious.

For one person for 3 days we got:

Oranges, apples, tomatoes and cucumbers– 3 pieces each

Doshirak– I tried a lot of different homeless packages – doshirak is the best

Stew– 3 jars

Smoked sausage- 200 grams

Processed cheese- 200 grams

Bread white for sliced sandwiches – a third of a loaf

Cookies- 200 grams

Snickers- 2 pieces

Plus, once we bought pies, ice cream, croutons, and once I bought pilaf. On the field, there will be no problems with buying food, other than a lack of money. One good meal on the field would cost me 500 rubles. The average person would eat one serving of the same pilaf for 250 rubles. A portion of kebab would cost about 200 rubles. The only alcohol sold on the field was beer, which cost about 200 rubles. per jar.

The cost of water is confusing. The price of water is a robbery. Even the so-called social water cost 200 rubles. for 5 liters. And on the field in the heat they leave very quickly. A 20 liter bottle in the car helped us out. On the way to the Volga River (about 3 km from the invasion territory) there are grocery stores with regular prices and you can buy everything you need there.

Inspection at Nashestvo and what you can bring

The previous point smoothly flows into the issue of inspection. This is the most controversial issue in the entire history of the Invasion.

Car. You can do whatever you want in the car. Yes, they will look into your trunk and interior, but they won’t go anywhere. If you bring outright contraband, then simply put it where it won't be visible. (upd some people check everything, here’s a life hack: take something you don’t want to lose, like a drunk, for example, and carry it in your hands to the parking lot)

Otherwise, they throw it out of the car in the trash, even alcohol!

The personal search at the entrance to the field is the most interesting thing. No matter what anyone says, you can carry absolutely everything onto the field. The 2015 invasion was the largest in the history of the festival. In three days he was visited by about 200,000 people. Arranging a full search of everyone is simply unrealistic, and at the same time, people constantly enter and leave the territory and need to be searched every time. Therefore, they are inspected selectively.

At the Invasion there were a lot of cheerful people in a wide variety of costumes.

How does a personal search actually happen at Nashestvo?

It all depends on the mood of the inspector, and whether he likes you or not. There are situations when they let you in just like that, and sometimes they almost have to strip down to their underpants. There were several of us walking around, and one walked back and forth with a knife several times, and the other was not allowed in with a spoon, with SPOON, i.e. sometimes the search turns into insanity... Sometimes the same sleeping bags are simply touched, and sometimes they need to be completely unfolded and no one cares that it is difficult to fold them back later.

Despite this madhouse news, here are a few life hacks on how to smuggle something.

The cordon itself is long, so we go to one end first and try to get through there. If they find something you can’t get through with, then say that everything is OK, now I’ll go to the car and take it. Turn around and leave. After a minute, having mixed with the crowd, go to the middle of the cordon to another inspector and try there. If you don’t have a ride there, then follow the same pattern and go to the other end. Just don’t get too impudent and don’t go to the same place twice, they remember.

The second point during inspection, together with the first, has greater effectiveness. If you walk without things, then your pockets will most likely be looked at. And if you have a trunk in your hands that is larger than you, then they will look at this trunk, but they will not look at you. A large bag and a small one are also quoted, often only the large one is looked at.

There were six of us and each of us had something forbidden as we passed. There were always a few of us who passed through completely unhindered. We also brazenly walked through with water. In general, this is prohibited, but some inspectors allow you to enter with a small bottle. Some people don’t even smell the contents, you just say that there is water in there and you pass :) I will also note that by the evening of the third day there was no inspection at all.

Achtung! I do not encourage anyone to bring anything prohibited; I present it solely for informational purposes. And remember that it may not always be possible to bring something prohibited onto the field, and for violating the rules of the festival you may be “deported” from the territory of the invasion.

What to do on the Invasion

There is something to do on the field all three days. All kinds of interactive events are held, competitions with prizes, there are sports entertainment and board games, in general, there is never a dull moment there. In addition, there are also the performances of the groups themselves. Performances took place simultaneously on two stages every day from 10.00 to 02.00. Moreover, at first I underestimated the second stage, and sometimes they burned better there than on the main one. Rock lovers will simply need to be busy in order to catch all the cool performances, because good bands play throughout the day, and not just in the evening.

Airshow from the Swifts aerobatic team, looks impressive live

There is plenty to do outside the festival area. You can, for example, go for a swim on the Volga. From the field you will have to walk about 5 kilometers in one direction, but it was not a strain for me. Plus, along the way there will be shops with normal prices.

The rock festival invasion is called the main adventure of the summer for a reason, we have seen this from our own experience. Words cannot convey the atmosphere that reigns on the field. And the moments when several tens of thousands of people, together with the lead singer of the Leningrad group, shout “Fuck! F*ck it!” priceless.

You could see the Invasion from a hot air balloon

A very useful thing for first timers:

Invasion, top view, video shot from a quadcopter, you can see what and how was organized at the festival:

UPD - some strange copyright holders complained about the video, now the video is gone :)

Scheme of the festival Invasion

I survived the 2016 Invasion

When to come for an invasion

Based on the experience of last year, when we arrived in Bolshoye Zavidovo at 4 am on the first day and then stood for about 5 hours in a traffic jam of people wanting to go to the rock festival. This time we arrived the day before at 22.00 and stood in traffic for almost 2 hours. Either even more people came, or everyone thought that they should arrive early. But this time we at least scored a good place in the parking lot. Conclusion - you need to arrive a couple of hours earlier.

Tickets for Invasion

This time we went with fans. There was also one VIP ticket. In practice, we were convinced that VIP is not needed at all, all its described advantages are in fact meaningless. There were 2 extra parking bracelets. They were sold at the parking lot at the original price, almost instantly. Conclusion - indeed, the best tickets for the Invasion (price/quality) FAN + parking.

Food at Nashestvo

I described above what exactly we took with us in terms of food for the Invasion. This time it was the same, only a little more in quantitative terms. Since we managed to park the car close, we went to eat in it, but did not bring food into the field. This time, instead of dry alcohol, we got a tourist gas stove - an incredibly convenient thing, I tell you. For an amount of approximately 2000 rubles. you will have the opportunity to fully prepare your food. The cylinder costs about 100 rubles. it lasts for a very long time. Now tiles are a must-have attribute of all my hikes!

The festival itself Invasion 2016

Last time, already on the first day I had a feeling of delight and the understanding that I would be here again! And so I survived the Invasion again. What can I say. This is great, those who doubt something, are worried about some details or are simply not sure - forget about everything. If you love Russian rock, you should be at Nashestvo!!!

This year, for me personally, the most epic day was the first day; it was amazing in terms of the lineup of performing groups. And the closing day of Leningrad was even brighter than last year. This time we stood right next to the stage and it was an incredible sight. It was even worth the broken shoulders and trampled feet. There was a terrible crush near the stage, plus I got into a slam against my will. But it was worth it.

Shnurov at Nashestvo 2016, we are only 2 meters from the stage

I’ll go to the 2017 invasion, tickets have been bought, even more people have gathered, we’ll rock it even brighter. See you on the field!

I survived the 2017 Invasion

I don’t even want to talk about the dirtiest invasion in history. This year we survived so much.

invasion 2017 in all its glory

Everything that was written was relevant, the only thing is to take boots, not galoshes, but straight boots up to your ears)) and a raincoat that doesn’t cost 100 rubles, but is really good, comfortable and durable. The gas stove again came to the rescue.

Among the changes - this time we arrived early in the morning the day before the invasion. There was no one at all!!!. No people, no security. We entered the parking lot through the main entrance opposite the entrance to the territory. We moved the fence and drove in. There were 10 cars in the entire parking lot, park wherever you want, no traffic jams, no security checks, nothing, carry whatever you want, there’s no one =)

Parking early in the morning 1 day before the official festival date

This is what the parking lot looked like at about 7 am 1 day before the festival. Around 10 am, there was a noticeable increase in cars. By 12 noon, traffic cops appeared and a search was already being organized. Then the people quickly poured in in a huge crowd... breakthroughs and everything was as usual.

This year we slept in the car (the station wagon allows you to sleep at full height). I can’t even imagine what was going on in the tent city.

I really liked Neuromonk’s performance, but I couldn’t “trample” the field...

Whether I will go to the festival for the fourth time is already a question, after the mud of ’17...

Invasion 2018

Parking invasion 2018 early morning 08/02/2018, slightly more cars than last year

Every year people come to the invasion earlier and earlier! Soon, starting from Monday, places will be filled at this rate.

Parking for Invasion 2018 is at 6 pm the day before the official start of the festival. The movement is already in full swing!

Are you going to the INVASION festival for the first time? Based on the experience of INVASION-2010, I’ll tell you: how to prepare for INVASION.

How much does food, water cost, what to take with you, what tickets to buy for INVASION? I will try to write about everything from my point of view here, based on my own experience.

BUYING TICKETS FOR THE INVASION
Guys, it’s better to decide on a trip to INVASION in advance. From my own experience. Because If you put off buying tickets until the end, you won’t go in the end, there will be laziness and many reasons. It is better to buy tickets before April 1st. They are cheaper at this time. From April 1 (no joke) prices usually rise by approximately a third.

Ticket categories - tueva hucha, provelink: http://nashestvie.ru/ru/info/ticket. It is better to study this matter in detail in advance; in general, everything is described there well.

My friend and I went for the first time this year and bought ourselves all VIP. Even at March prices, it was 13 thousand for two: 2 VIP tickets, VIP parking and a VIP tent. Next I describe our Epic Fails.

vip tent. The topic is stupid and unnecessary. The territory of the VIP zone accommodated all the tents with great creaking (it is small). But ordinary tents could be set up on almost the entire territory of the Invasion field (a very large area). You can - in a tent city together with everyone in a heap, or you can 200-300 meters from everyone, so that no one interferes. Therefore, next time we take a regular tent; in addition to the fact that it is cheaper, it is also more convenient.

vip parking. Yes, closer to the entrance for VIP tickets. Regular parking is a little further away. This is where all the advantages end. However, it costs more. But not by much. Is there any point in overpaying? You can, but at your choice)) There is no car security or special conditions in the VIP parking lot. The same destroyed field)) Just closer to the entrance.

But with tickets it’s a double-edged sword. What gives us vip ticket? The ability to walk everywhere without worrying about whether there is a way through)) The ability to sit in the stands (relevant in rainy weather). But what are the actual advantages over a FAN ticket? But almost none, except that leaving the festival territory is impossible (and there’s really no point in leaving), and in the stands! Special restaurants for VIP are expensive, we ate in the regular area. Although only in the VIP zone you can buy strong alcohol (very expensive, of course). Night discos? Yes, you must be either super lazy (not going to concerts on stages) or mega-energetic (because after the last speaker you can barely drag your feet to the tent). Additional entertainment? Maybe a shower)) But also for money)))) Special toilet area? Here's a laugh: regular toilets, especially at the alternative stages, are SO much cleaner. And there are many times more of them. In the VIP zone we didn’t dare go into the toilet)) As a result, the only advantages are leaving the INVASION territory (which we never used) and the opportunity to sit in the stands (this is a plus). Although if you have money, then VIP cafes with alcohol will also be pleasant on a Saturday evening!

A FAN ticket also gives you access to stand close to the stage (exactly the same). But without a fan/vip ticket - it sucks, the FAN zone is fenced off from the stage about 100 meters away. outside of it, holders of regular tickets on the stage cannot see anything, only from the screens))

Therefore, if you have a car and a tent, the most optimal solutions for purchasing tickets are:
- regular/vip parking
- regular tent (cooler than vip!!!)
- FAN or VIP ticket. Decide first of all by the desire to go beyond the festival (theoretically, you can go to the store in the nearest village: about a kilometer on foot, and buy food and water there at reasonable prices, although you can absorb it all there), as well as access to cold technical water and soul, yes, but with mega-queues (showers are paid, I think 300 rubles, we didn’t go), and the opportunity to sit in the stands (this is a plus, by the way). There are no other differences.

FOOD, WATER, BEER AND ALCOHOL AT THE INVASION

On NASHESHVE - everything is quite expensive, gentlemen. And considering that the festival takes place in the fresh air (a constantly excited appetite) and if the weather is like this summer (amazing heat) - you really need to take a lot of money for a good holiday.

You cannot bring anything into the festival grounds; security will confiscate everything. Water is not allowed, food is not allowed, nothing is allowed)) Especially a bummer with water.

I'll start with the most intriguing thing, i.e. from the end. Strong alcohol at NASHESHVIE- sold in the VIP restaurant area. There are many different things. For example, 50 grams of vodka costs 130 rubles, whiskey - about 300 rubles for 50 grams (obviously cheap in quality) the rest is 3-4 times more expensive)) But this is only for VIPs, and even in this heat - strong alcohol is not popular.

Beer at NASHESHVIE. At the rock festival (it was a revelation for me) the main thing sold is CAN beer. Draft - current in the VIP zone, some kind of No Name, 170-200 rubles per half-liter glass. Canned - from 120 rubles per can of an old miller. For 200 rubles you can buy a liter bottle (wow, it’s cheaper). There is no assortment in general)) All prices are current for 2011.

Water and soft drinks at NASHESHVE. This, comrades, is a mockery and a star. In the heat of +35, which was in 2010, at least... 0.5 bottle of Pepsi or similar drinks, as well as to carry, costs 100 rubles. Needless to say that such a bottle is drunk in one gulp at once and there is not enough of it even in this weather?)) Drinking water is shipped in 1 place from trucks, at first they brought 5-liter canisters for 120 rubles, then they began to deliver in one and a half liter bottles for price 250 rubles for 6 pieces (not available at retail). Everything is warm, yes. Regarding water temperature... If we take it in basic terms shopping arcades- everything is always warm there, they manage to put drinks in the refrigerator for show, everything quickly flies away. Moreover, only 2 outlets out of 20 stalls in the shopping row sell drinks (water and beer). Where they sell food, they don't sell water. And vice versa. Rave. But if you’re not too lazy to run 500 meters to the lonely tents near the alternative stages, there was cold beer there. But stomping, of course, is far away. And they found out about this thanks to the fact that they decided to take a walk throughout the entire territory (the area is very large).

Food on the invasion. Not a lot of variety. In the VIP zone there is something like a canteen (you go through, they serve you whatever you want, each dish costs something). Expensive shopper, a modest lunch for 1 person will cost about 500 rubles (potatoes, meat and a drink). Therefore, most dine in the regular area. Here... Well, for example, a portion of shish kebab costs from 150 to 300 rubles (depending on the tent). You won’t eat much, it’s 1 skewer in small pieces (3-5 pieces of meat). There was 1 point with “homemade” food and a constant mega-queue, where you could, for example, eat a cutlet with rice for 70 rubles, but I never risked going through with it. There were bigbon tents, where this dry drink with boiling water for free (like a promotion) can be bought at a price of 50 to 120 rubles, depending on what. Boiling water separately for bringing in doshiraki costs 30 rubles per glass (yes, for some reason they were allowed to bring in doshiraki, it seems). There were also stardog tents at a price of 120 rubles per hotdog. In other shopping arcades, local hot dogs cost from 40 to 100 rubles, depending on where they were. Terribly tasteless))) And in the old dogs, the sausages were always burnt on the 2nd day: they didn’t have time to wash the pan. There was also a tent with pancakes for 250 rubles - it was not popular. You could also find fried dumplings (about 150 rubles), boiled corn (100 rubles)... Chips for a 15 gram bag, like crackers, cost 50 rubles.

In general, one gets the impression that everything seems to be not so expensive; in Moscow, restaurants like this are more expensive. To be honest, my friend and I took 8,000 between us, arrived on Friday evening, left on Sunday morning (we didn’t buy anything on Sunday) - there was literally no money left at all. At the same time, we saved on almost everything (we drank less water than we wanted, ate 2 times a day, although we wanted much more often, we didn’t get enough beer). So I advise you to put aside about 5,000 rubles for the “economy” option at a glance, and 10-15 thousand so as not to deny yourself anything. This does not include tickets)) It turns out very expensive. Who knows, in cool cloudy weather it might have been less.

WHAT TO TAKE WITH YOU TO AN INVASION

If we go for all 3 days, we take with us:
- tent with sleeping bags
- 3-4 replacement T-shirts and 3-4 replacement shorts/jeans (because the rain sometimes starts unexpectedly and heavily, and sometimes there is nowhere to dry)
- a cap or something to protect your head from the sun
- sunscreen in the tube (we have not taken it, now like a black man)
- something warm in case “what if it gets colder”
- light shoes (sandals are the best)
- rubber boots (because even without rain, near the stands the ground often turns into an impassable mess, and if it rains, even more so)
- a raincoat (because it is convenient and compact, but with an umbrella you will not stand near the stage for a long time, in the best case, the umbrella will be broken for you, because it interferes with your view, and in the worst case, depending on your luck)
- light medicine: activated charcoal, something light and popular for the stomach and hangover, a plaster (our second joint, they didn’t take a plaster, but trampled on the calluses).

Take any cosmetics ONLY IN TUBES: bottles (metal and glass, including with and without sprayers) are taken away! By the way, you don’t need to take anything for mosquitoes, because... There are no mosquitoes on Invasion. Seriously.

Guitars are always welcome, you will be the highlight of the nearest tents)) Some games are possible (balls, frisbees, cards). You don't really need anything else. You can try to smuggle in some doshirak, but it’s safer and easier to buy it locally. They are not allowed to carry water. Alcohol even more so.

It is better to photocopy the documents and take copies to the territory (leave the originals such as licenses in the car). Take the minimum of valuables. Be prepared for the fact that everything you take can, in theory, be lost: no one is watching the tent. Although, by the way, the number of participants this time was quite adequate.

The rest is to taste, but you shouldn’t add too much.

ENTERTAINMENT AT THE INVASION

If you read the site, there should be so many interesting things there... In fact, there is little entertainment other than the main thing: concerts. There is a games room with board games (probably the only free thing at the festival). There were rides on hot-air balloon in the evenings. There was an Xbox promo room, but there were a lot of people there - it was better not to interfere)) For very young children there were inflatable trampolines. Well, in general, I think I’ve listed everything))))

But despite all this, we must go to the INVASION. Especially In 2011 INVASION 10 YEARS OLD!

The organization is already more or less tolerable. Although there is room for improvement. But I’ll write about this in the next post about the Invasion, about my impressions. It was cool, we liked it, we want to go again next year. We will start saving money in the fall)))) I wish the same for you!

July is approaching, which means the main adventure of summer is ahead - Invasion! This time I’m going to it from Kaliningrad in a car (not my own) with cool guys (hey guys!), and there I’m already meeting my own people. It seemed interesting to travel at least a little around Russia by car, at least in its central part, otherwise we are all in Europe!
The most pressing question for newcomers before the Invasion is what to take with them and what not to take. Therefore, I will write in detail.

1. Sleeping bag (no comments here, I think)
2. Sneakers and/or rubber boots in case of rain, and it’s not a shame to leave the ones on the field, since this is really a field, earth, and if it rains, there will be a lot of mud. During my three Invasions there was rain all three years, but not for long.
3. Raincoat for the same reason. You can’t stand under an umbrella at a concert, and when it’s all over you, it’s not very pleasant.
4. Two pairs of pants, two T-shirts, shorts, a jacket. Changes of clothes are a must; after the rain you want to change into dry clothes. Shorts and T-shirts are better light and cotton; denim ones are terribly hot.
5. Headdress. The opposite case is a terrible heat, I remember my first, it was so hot. You can also catch a blow. There is no shadow, only in and from the tent. But it’s wildly stuffy inside.
6. Swimsuits. At 35 degrees, girls are usually wearing them, especially since the field and people are being watered by both fire trucks with hoses and the spectators themselves. And you can go to the Volga for a swim.
7. Flip-flops-slippers-sandals. And also taking into account that, theoretically, they could step on and tear something off at the concert. In general, it is better not to take expensive things with you.
8. Tourist foam and seat, also known as an elastic cushion (sold in Sportmaster, etc., and costs 200 rubles). You are unlikely to dance through all the concerts; sometimes you don’t want to hang out right next to the stage, but sit with a view of the concert.
9. Sunscreen and after-sun cream, or panthenol, but not in a can, etc. for sunburn. Even if the forecast says 20 degrees, it’s better to take it, the weather is changing, the sun is hot.
10. Towel.
11. Personal hygiene items: soap, wet wipes, toilet paper (in the beginning all this is in dry closets, by day 3 it may not survive), toothbrush and paste, etc.
12. Power bank, also known as a charger. In the era of gadgets, there are no videos and photos. There are chargers, but the queue is huge.
13. Thermal mug and/or thermos. It’s convenient to buy boiling water in a large container in the morning and pour it over porridge, puree, rollton, and other goodies.
14. Band-aid + first aid kit (all sorts of banal activated carbon, noshpa, etc., everything that is unfamiliar can be taken away, there are doctors on duty at the field, so if you are not a chronically ill person, it is better not to bring anything rare)
15. Food: Breakfast cereals, muesli, dry cereals, mashed potatoes, rollton, all kinds of crackers, cookies, cereal sweet bars, etc. Everything is sold, in order to save money you can take it with you, the main thing is not perishable or canned food.
16. Earplugs:))) For those special bores who are bothered by guitar songs until the morning and musicians singing in the morning. It won't be quiet! At all! All nights someone walks, sings, drinks, laughs and plays. Get some sleep at home!

And most importantly, a good mood and positivity! This is a very cool adventure :)

WHAT NOT TO TAKE

Prohibited for transportation

1) All liquids, including alcohol, water, juices, all kinds of skin tonics, micellar water, etc. Drinks cannot even be left in the car in the parking lot.
2) Weapons and piercing objects, such as manicure scissors and nail files. Even tent pegs need specific ones, look on the website.
3) Canned goods and perishables, that is, fresh meat, sausages, cheeses, etc.
4) Objects in glass. Girls IMPORTANT! Perfume is also glass! And antiperspirant too. Last year they took my Rexona away. And fizzing desiccant is also not allowed, it’s flammable and dangerous.
5) Burners, gas cylinders, etc.

What is better not to take from experience:

1) Chocolate, bananas, etc. Everything that melts and spreads.
2) Lots of things and cosmetics. It takes up a lot of space and is not useful.
3) Expensive cameras. I have not personally encountered any cases of theft, but anything can happen.
4.) Decorations. You will lose.

More from the org moments. How much money should I take? Apart from paying for parking and a tent (prices are on the website), I spend a maximum of 3-4 thousand in three days. But this is absolutely not something I refuse. You can do it in 2, less is also a lot if you have all your own food and spend only on water, boiling water and beer.

When you arrive by car, you are given two parking bracelets per car, regardless of the number of passengers; they allow you to leave the camp area and return back.

Is it possible to bring a prohibited item and how are they searched? Go through the frame, open the backpack bags and empty them of their contents. Theoretically, I know what they smuggle in, who would doubt it, especially alcohol, but I don’t drink strong drinks, especially in the heat, so I can’t give you any advice. And honestly, I don’t recommend it, the rules are sane, they were introduced for our own safety, and anyone who wants to get drunk can do it at home.

I hope the post will be useful, and I’m a little jealous of those who are trying it for the first time. Emotions are many times cooler!

By the way, who from the blogging crowd will be in Zavidovo this year? If I missed something on the list of things, please add it!

Surviving the “Invasion”: how to spend the festival days with maximum comfort

To an uninitiated person, the phrase “I survived the “Invasion”” means nothing, but for the “veterans” of the festival it causes a slight attack of nostalgia and euphoria. This year will be held for the sixteenth time. However, not everyone knows how to survive the “Invasion” for the first time. What should beginners take with them to spend the festival days with maximum comfort? We are sharing a list of things for which you will mentally say “thank you” to yourself.

RAIN COAT, RUBBER SHOES, BANDANA

Two things can prevent you from enjoying your favorite music: too much rainy weather and the weather is too hot. During the history of “Invasion”, everything has happened - abnormal heat and rainy monsoons, and it is almost impossible to predict what surprises the weather will give us this year. Therefore, it is better to play it safe and take with you a raincoat, durable waterproof shoes that you don’t mind, a cap or scarf to cover your head against sunstroke. Real fans are not afraid of rainy weather, so usually when it starts to rain, the field blooms with different colored raincoats.

DAILY BREAD AND LIQUID

On "Invasion" they feed generously, but for money. Therefore, it makes sense to think over your festival menu, taking into account that it is prohibited to bring any fuel into the territory. What to do? Take with you something that can be stored for a long time: doshirak and rollton, smoked sausage, cookies, cheese, bread, crackers, dry puree. Boiling water can be bought for 50 rubles at food stalls. No matter how much you would like to bring alcohol with you, it won’t be possible, but at the festival beer flows like a river, of course, also for money.

SWIMSUIT

The Volga River flows 4 kilometers from the festival field, which for many has become a salvation on the hottest days. So take it with you swimsuit and fins - they will be useful not only on the river, but also on the field, if suddenly the clothes seem unnecessary.

SUNSCREEN

Oh, how many burnt noses and shoulders “Invasion” has seen over the years! Holidays at the festival are somewhat reminiscent of a beach holiday, provided the weather is clear and sunny: summer, green grass, blue sky, relaxed and happy people around in shorts and T-shirts. Most of the day is spent under open air, there is nowhere to hide from the sun, there is every chance of getting sunburned, but there is no chance of resuscitating yourself. Sunscreen is a must-have item for a festival, and if you take it, you will mentally thank yourself.

CLOTH

Don’t underestimate your wardrobe at the “Invasion”, because, as we remember, the weather can have surprises in store for us. Take what you are comfortable in dance, jump and lie on the grass, but don’t forget about warm clothes: the nights in the Moscow region are cool even in July. A change of clothes won’t hurt either, because, for example, you might get doused with beer (accidentally).

TENT, SLEEPING BAG, FOAM

The festival lasts three days, which means that you will have to spend two nights somewhere. The majority buys a place in a tent camp, the minority stays overnight in the car or drives to the nearest hotel. And still the real spirit of “Invasion” can be felt when looking for your tent in the night with a flashlight and waking up to Zemfira’s sound check at 7 am. So, the absolute must-have at a rock festival is a tent, a sleeping bag and foam, which can also be used during the day for bedding.

FISHING ROCK AND FLAG

Why take a fishing rod to the festival if there are no fish there anyway? Fishing rods are used to attach the flag. Because Otherwise, finding your tent among thousands of others will take more than one hour. Accordingly, you also need to take care of the flag in advance. Many take the flags of their cities and countries, some invent their own. The more original the flag, the easier it is to find your parking lot.
